Ashley , thank you so much for joining us and offering your lessons and wisdom for our readers. One of the things we most admire about you is your generosity and so we’d love if you could talk to us about where you think your generosity comes from.

I am an empath to the max, and making people feel special or seen just comes natural. It’s a blessing and a curse. I think my generosity comes from not receiving generosity from others growing up.. People can be so mean and I take pride in giving my all and going above and beyond for those I love and my valued clients.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

I plan and coordinate any wedding, party or event in the New Orleans area, the North shore, NOLA + everywhere! No event is too small or too big. I offer Personal Assistant and Social Media Marketing services also!

I am a Mindy Weiss wanna be 😉 and I love my job!!! Planning events over and over for families is a D R E A M!

I started my planning business when I was 23, going to college, standing in a wedding three times a year, and working private events at Hard Rock Cafe NOLA. I feel very special to have so many great women in my life who love me and considered being in over 10 weddings amazing BTS training for my business. 🤍

I produced, coordinated and hosted a bridal show in 2019 & 2024, and they were both fabulous, thanks to some of the most talented vendors in all the land!

The third show is in the making.

I enjoy being at the beach and laughing hard w/ my besties, but most importantly, being a Mom and a Wife. Loving them is my favorite thing to do. I love doing Tiktoks and making my husband do them too!.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, I know that working private events, going to college for Business marketing, standing in over 10 weddings, and assisting a wedding planner were all very impactful for my journey as a business owner and wedding planner. You can do anything you set your mind to, so go for it!

Looking back over the past 12 months or so, what do you think has been your biggest area of improvement or growth?

I launched a new business to expand my services. Hotel Tuohy is a highly regarded Luxury Concierge Service. Our expert services are dedicated to ensuring your every need is met, from lifestyle management to wedding, event, and party planning. It’s something I’m very passionate about.
