Meet At-N Ausara-Lasaru

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to At-N Ausara-Lasaru. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

At-N , so many exciting things to discuss, we can’t wait. Thanks for joining us and we appreciate you sharing your wisdom with our readers. So, maybe we can start by discussing optimism and where your optimism comes from?

I believe one reaps the true benefits of optimism once they arrive to a position of knowing oneself. I’ve overcame a plethora of adversities simply due to intentionally developing my mental resilience and by sticking to my “personal script” if you will.
I’ve mapped my life out to ultimate precision and at this point it’s a matter of continuing to read what I have written, so to speak. Henceforth, why I can sleep calmly at night knowing that as long as I trust myself, the rest will fall into place.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

I’ve been involved in the arts since my younger years but more professionally after I turned 18. Currently 27, I am now proudly deemed a polymath. My art is riddled with gothic undertones and occult knowledge in which brings me utmost peace to create. I focus on my musical trajectory, which includes songwriting, vocals and producing. I also balance that with filmmaking, which includes but isn’t limited to music videos, photography and short films.

Currently, I’m in the works of creating my first feature film, a Horror/Thriller effort called “Seek” starring my cousin Kares Chrisdolph Pratt. On my birthday August 28th, my self-produced 6th solo studio album “Vampyre” will also be hitting the shelves. This project feels like a huge step in solidifying my unmistakable macabre sound.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Adaptability. Allow yourself the freedom of evolution and growth, the world is a forever changing place – it would befit one not to be left behind. It can be developed by frequently placing yourself in unfamiliar situations and pushing yourself to overcome them.

Resilience. This world is for the weak and only the strong survive. Statements like these exist for a reason. Hone and develop coping methods, understand your strengths and weaknesses. Constantly aim to build yourself up into the strongest version possible.

Faithfulness. Be true to yourself and what you crave from this existence. It’s yours for the taking. Believe it. Own it. Live it.

What’s been one of your main areas of growth this year?

I have been working diligently on my second language development in Spanish, which I reached fluency in while living in Argentina. Language learning and lingustics as a whole is a powerful field, communication in itself being invaluable. Acquiring another language has rewired my brain into being able to understand the world in a vast way whilst opening up relationships and connections that otherwise wouldn’t have been possible.
