Atlanta, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
One of my favorite quotes is, “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.’ -Ghandi. I believe at my core I am a natural born leader, but I understood that true fulfillment lied within me seeing a problem, finding a solution and being able to present it to the collective. I am a master cosmetologist by trade, the CEO of Alkhemi Herbal Tea Co, and host of Alkhemi HonesTea Podcast. Through my passions my purpose revealed itself to me.

My life’s work is to help people with their transformation. I teach, assist help and show people how to accomplish their goals of life. I am a householder. Earth is the only place where people come to be enlightened. I assist people with their enlightenment.

I provide services through physical transformation; hair artistry. The transformation of the health through plants and herbs with teas. As well as servicing the physical body through sound bowl therapy.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
As a stylist I am a master cosmetologist in TN & CA. I am a Redken Certified Hair Colorist, Extension Specialist and Natural Hairstylist. I trained at Douglas J. Aveda Institute in Knoxville, TN after attending The University Of Tennessee studying Food Science and Technology. I established myself as a respected hairstylist and makeup artist in East Tennessee and perfected my craft working on short films, weddings and magazine shoots. I have a decade of experience in the beauty industry. Currently I am a creative people centered traveling committed to creating an optimal environment and wow experiences for my guests.

May of 2020 I turned my childhood love of tea and tea sets into a reality through Alkhemi Tea Co. Alkhemizing is the ability to transform the nature of properties in a seemingly magical way. My mission is to transform the nature of your health with the healing herbal properties of tea. I committed to crafting locally sourced certified organic herbs and teas for my blends.

Alkhemi HonesTea Podcast is a space for cultivating mindfulness, navigating life and free thought. This is an intentional exchange of honest energy; where we can respectfully hold space as we float through the space ways. Here we chat all things tea, health, manifestation and soul liberation. This is the safe space to transmute everyday experiences into impactful growth through discussion.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
I believe three qualities that were most impactful in my journey was keeping a thirst for knowledge, the ability to be flexible and reinvent, and also not being afraid to take a risk. Self confidence is laced within all of those things. So, truly being unashamed and unapologetic in the pursuit of self and self exploration is the most vital piece of creating your own version of success. NO ONE is YOU and that is your power!

Awesome, really appreciate you opening up with us today and before we close maybe you can share a book recommendation with us. Has there been a book that’s been impactful in your growth and development?
Who Am I by Ramana Marharshi although philosophical and a short read (might I add) was presented to me at a very unsure time in my life. Ramana sought spiritual guidance and solicited answers to questions relating to Self-enquiry. I believe it inspired me to understand that even in my unsurety and what I perceived was my lowest moments were all divinely orchestrated for my soul’s highest and greatest evolution.
