We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Audrey Muller a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Audrey, thank you so much for opening up with us about some important, but sometimes personal topics. One that really matters to us is overcoming Imposter Syndrome because we’ve seen how so many people are held back in life because of this and so we’d really appreciate hearing about how you overcame Imposter Syndrome.
I should preface with I don’t think that Imposter Syndrome is real at least not in the way that is primarily talked about. I truly believe that a lot of us use Imposter Syndrome, including myself in the past, as a way to hold on to our limiting beliefs and to rationalize our saboteurs before we become emotional intelligent enough to understand what’s really happening. We are protecting our egos from feelings of fear, embarrassment or failure because we have been taught through society that these feelings are negative but truly they are catalysts for growth. Learning about my EQ saboteurs and understanding my own worth and how I protect myself with just self-awareness was the first step. Learning to embody my whole essence unapologetically, fully was the shift from the negative feedback loop to no I actually know what I am talking about and I am serving from a whole heart. I can admit when I am wrong, grow, learn, and understand that we are all a work in progress and I am worthy of sharing my best with the world.
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I guide women in business to find clarity and confidence while building feminine soul-led businesses in a way that feels fully aligned for both them and their clients. What sets my work apart is the duality I bring into business coaching—most people teach from their learned experience not from either the business owner’s perspective or the client’s perspective. But I believe both are necessary. We build from the inside out—first, grounding in clarity and direction, making sure the business is an authentic reflection of the founder’s values, strengths, and purpose. Then, we flip the script and look at it from the client’s perspective, ensuring the experience they have with the brand is seamless, impactful, and deeply resonant. Because when both pieces are in sync, that’s when real magic happens.
My own journey in online business started over 20 years ago—going through MLMs, learning from trial and error, and eventually running a successful Virtual Assistance business before burning out. That burnout forced me to pause and completely re-evaluate what I was building. I spent 2023 focusing on deep healing, completing certifications in Spiritual Life and Purpose Coaching, and ultimately integrating everything I’d learned to create a coaching practice that guides women in business step into clarity, alignment, and sustainable success on their terms.
Right now, my main focus is my 1:1 coaching and consulting, where I work closely with women who are ready to refine their vision, step into their confidence, and create a business that not only supports them financially but also deeply fulfills them. I also run The Clarity Collective—an accessible membership for women looking for guidance and community as they navigate building a feminine soul-led business that feels good and works well.
What excites me most about my work is seeing the moment my clients shift from feeling overwhelmed and uncertain to fully embodying their confidence and vision—the moment they step into their own light. When they realize they don’t have to compromise their values to build a profitable business—THAT is everything.
As for what’s next? I’m expanding The Clarity Collective to provide even deeper support, new live workshops, and tailored resources to help women bridge the gap between vision and execution. I’m also exploring opportunities to bring more guest experts into my space—because one thing I know for sure is that we rise together.
At the end of the day, I do this work because I know how disorienting it can be to build something in the online space while trying to stay true to yourself. The are gurus left and right tell you, you have to do things this way or that but very few that take your whole human experience into account. But the truth is, you don’t have to sacrifice who you are to build a business that thrives. You just need clarity, confidence, and the right support. And that’s exactly what I’m here to provide.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back, three qualities and skills have been the most impactful in my journey overall: resilience, emotional intelligence, and intuitive strategy.
Resilience to keep going even when things don’t go as planned has been everything. I’ve started and restarted businesses more times than I can count. Each time I thought, maybe this is the one, only to realize it wasn’t quite right. But instead of seeing those experiences as failures, I reframed them as stepping stones. The truth is, business is never linear. You will pivot. You will hit roadblocks. And that’s ok. The key is trusting yourself enough to keep showing up. My advice for beginners is to expect challenges and normalize the pivots. Instead of seeing them as a sign to quit, ask yourself: What is this teaching me? Every shift is bringing you closer to alignment.
Next, Emotional Intelligence, building a business isn’t just about strategy; it’s about how you handle yourself, your emotions, and your relationships. I used to operate from a place of doing—hustling, grinding, thinking the next thing would be the answer. But when I hit burnout, I had to look inward. I had to learn how to regulate my nervous system, set boundaries, and trust my intuition. That’s when everything changed. Now, I approach business from a place of self-awareness and emotional regulation, which allows me to show up for my clients and my business in a way that’s sustainable. My advice is to learn to understand yourself. Pay attention to your patterns—when you self-sabotage, when you shrink, when you overwork. Get curious about your triggers and start building the emotional capacity to hold discomfort. Business will stretch you, and your ability to navigate the emotional highs and lows will be just as important as your ability to strategize.
Finally, Intuitive Strategy, I used to think business was all about following someone else’s blueprint. That if I just did the right things I would be successful. But every time I tried to force myself into a mold, I felt disconnected. The turning point for me was understanding that the best strategy is the one that aligns with who you are. That’s why I now lean into my Human Design (Sacral Generator 2/4) and make decisions based on what feels right. This doesn’t mean ignoring logic—it means blending structure with intuition to create a business model that actually works for you. You can begin to do this by finding strategies that align with your energy and strengths. If something feels forced, pause and reassess. Experiment. Pay attention to what lights you up and where you feel resistance. Your business should work with you, not against you.
At the end of the day, success isn’t just about business tactics—it’s about how you show up, how you handle challenges, and how you create a business that truly feels like home. So trust yourself, keep refining, and give yourself permission to build something that fits you.
Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?
When I feel overwhelmed, the first thing I do is pause. Overwhelm usually hits when I’m trying to do too much at once or forcing something that’s out of alignment. Instead of pushing through, I’ve learned to step back, regulate my nervous system, and reconnect with what actually matters. I start by calming my body—breathing exercises, a quick walk, dancing, or even physically shaking out the stress help me reset before I try to problem-solve. Then, I ask myself, What’s the one thing that actually moves the needle? Overwhelm thrives in chaos, so I strip it back to the essentials and focus on just one next step. I also check in with my intuition—am I pushing something that doesn’t feel right? Am I following someone else’s strategy instead of my own? As a Sacral Generator 2/4, I know my best decisions come when I follow what feels expansive and release what feels heavy. Overwhelm isn’t a sign of failure; it’s just a signal that something needs to shift. So instead of forcing my way through it, I regulate, reassess, and realign—because clarity always follows when I give myself space to breathe.
