We recently connected with Aurange and have shared our conversation below.
Aurange, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
I get my work ethic from the people I surround myself with. It’s something that was embedded in me as a kid from my uncle, who’s no longer with us. I also see someone else as a form of inspiration to give me that boost, telling myself, “If they can do it, why can’t I?” and working towards that goal I have set for myself.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I am an editorial fashion photographer and a filmmaker. I love both of these forms of art because I get to tell a story in meaningful ways. With photography I can bring a story to life with fashion and human emotion and with filmmaking I get to tell the opposite because I make horror movies (laughs) sometimes the meaning doesn’t have to be as deep or personal with your art a it’s okay to just have fun with it. Right now I’m creating a horror/thriller tv series and once I’m done I’ll be teaching the fundamentals of photography.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
TIME! Time is a child that’ll test your patience, once I set a goal or project the first thing I realized is how much time and patience I needed to complete my task. The one thing you have to remember is that it can’t happen overnight or the next day. You have to be patient with everything that you do not just art however if you’re driving towards a can speed up the process but as long as you’re focused time will fly by.

What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?
My family has always been supportive of the things I have wanted to do with my life and as a child, my mother always kept me signed up or had me in the field of arts. Where I grew up was pretty rough and we were always surrounded by many bad things, but my mom always had me doing artistic things to keep us away from it all. And without her starting me off early into this world I love and have a passion for I’m not sure where I’d be.
