We were lucky to catch up with Austill Henry recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Austill , thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?

My work ethic is from knowing if I don’t get it done then who is going to do it?

So I always ensure that I keep as focused as possible.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

My name is zagga, a reggae singer/songwriter and producer from jamaica.
Started out making music is the bed room and any chance I get. A passion that has been lit from early high school years which I pursue fully through life as it was my calling.

I bring my feelings experiences and other people’s stories as well to life through this art of mine and it gives such joy to see the reasons and relation people has to it.. working on dropping a new album soon so please look out for that.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Looking back patience was my best friend, it is important to know timing and when to make your move.
It is also important to know that one should invest the time into mastering their craft and understanding their selves and limits.
Also resilience is a very important trait I learned along the way which was beneficial.

Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?

There are a lot a times it gets overwhelming, especially creating but u find comfort in knowing challenges are where growth is, so if I can overcome them I will be better than before.
