Hi Autumn, so happy you were able to devote some time to sharing your thoughts and wisdom with our community. So, we’ve always admired how you have seemingly never let nay-sayers or haters keep you down. Can you talk to us about how to persist despite the negative energy that so often is thrown at folks trying to do something special with their lives?

I’ve learned to persist despite the haters because, at the end of the day, they’re just people hiding behind a screen and projecting their insecurities onto others. I’ve come to realize that people who hate are often upset at someone else’s success, and their negativity is a reflection of their own struggles. Not mine. Instead of letting their words bring me down, I use them as fuel to keep going, knowing that if I have haters, it means I’m achieving something worth noticing. Their criticism only reaffirms that I’m on the right path, and I refuse to let them dim my light.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I am a singer who also acts and dances, but what sets me apart is how my music focuses on mental health and relatable childhood experiences. A lot of what I create is inspired by my own personal journey, including overcoming suicidal tendencies, and I aim to use my art to connect with others who may feel alone. I am excited for my first single, Why Are We Leaving? (Summer 2025), to delve into the deeply emotional themes of divorce and the process of families splitting apart— subjects that I know resonate with many others young adults who have experienced similar pain. Through my music, I hope to spark healing and understanding for myself and others.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, the three most impactful qualities in my journey were knowing the right people to work with, communicating effectively with others, and understanding how to use technology to my advantage. These skills opened doors and created opportunities I never imagined. For anyone early in their journey, my advice is simple: don’t be afraid to reach out, be bold, and unapologetically go after your dreams. Building connections requires stepping outside your comfort zone, and no one makes it in this industry by being shy or quiet. You have to speak up for yourself, share your vision, and show the world what you’re capable of. SUCCESS FAVORS THE BOLD, so take that leap— you never know where it might lead.
