Meet Avery Epps

We were lucky to catch up with Avery Epps recently and have shared our conversation below.

Avery , appreciate you making time for us and sharing your wisdom with the community. So many of us go through similar pain points throughout our journeys and so hearing about how others overcame obstacles can be helpful. One of those struggles is keeping creativity alive despite all the stresses, challenges and problems we might be dealing with. How do you keep your creativity alive?

By keeping plugging myself into the theatre and film community mostly theatre. And by writing

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I’m a theatre actor that’s where I feel most alive and where I can fully be myself. I have a show coming up in October called liberty Mountain in Kings mountain , North Carolina. When I’m not doing theatre I’m investing my time in film production for my YouTube channel. Called ave the prophet productions

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

That’s a great question right of the top of my head I’ll have to say the my high school and a place downtown called the culture arts center and uncg that’s where I learned so much about theatre it’s the reason why I’ve had a lot of success in my life recently. They have made a massive difference and impact in my life recently

And my advice would be to keep being yourself and working hard on your craft anything is possible and you can have the life you’ve always dreamed of. And don’t listen to the negativity and people trying to bring you down. Use it as motivation and fuel

Okay, so before we go, is there anyone you’d like to shoutout for the role they’ve played in helping you develop the essential skills or overcome challenges along the way?

My best friend Alex we met through theatre and has truly inspired me to become the best person and actor I can be and of my family we don’t always see eye to eye but they have been a great influence on me
