Meet Ayana Rodriguez

We recently connected with Ayana Rodriguez and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Ayana , appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?

Resilience is one of the most challenging skills that can be cultivated and grown.

Resilience is a skill that we are teaching less. We are quick to resolve for our children and or in relationships. Disappointment should happen everyday. A feeling an experience that builds coping skills and resiliency.

My resilience stems from my mother. She is a survivor, a thriver in life. She taught me to never give up, not to allow life circumstance’s to define one’s ability to move forward. She would say, if a bomb dropped next to you, was not meant for you, keep going. A saying that holds value. What is not meant for you is a path to create what is, the challenges are lessons to learn how to navigate and resolve. The definition of being resilient.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

Professionally I am focused on the process and strategy of redefining the approach to childcare. The approach should be one with intention and the right process. My goal is to continue to gain different perspective that guides me to continued growth and success for all itavi stakeholders.

We have exciting new partnerships launching in new cities that will be announced soon.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Important skills are resiliency when faced with challenges, perspective to find solutions, and the ability to commit to a process, these qualities led itavi to success.

My advice for new entrepreneurs is to map out your intentions early, create a strategy of realistically implementation and be open to adjusting to make it better. Following this process, you can accomplish objectives and attain goals.

Okay, so before we go, is there anyone you’d like to shoutout for the role they’ve played in helping you develop the essential skills or overcome challenges along the way?

My itavi team have been instrumental when it comes to developing process, implementing policies and executing childcare. All leading to our growth.
One of our biggest challenges and opportunities for growth is building infrastructure and culture of childcare professionals that align with the companies mission and goals. We are overcoming the challenge in developing our internal culture with an intentional approach and purpose to identify qualified childcare team members. This guides the company to ensure we provide the best of care.
