Azarriah , thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?

Honestly, a big part of it comes from my parents and the mindset they helped instill in me. But also, it’s this unshakable optimism I carry — this deep belief that things will work out for me, even when the present moment doesn’t reflect that yet. I’ve been knocked down more than a few times, but every time I rise, I come back with more fire, more hunger. It’s like I know I have a purpose — something God-given — and no matter how hard it gets, I’m not stopping until I live it out.”

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I run a mobile bartending business that’s all about bringing unforgettable experiences to every event we’re part of. What I love most about what I do is that it’s not just about serving drinks — it’s about creating a vibe. I bring energy, professionalism, and personality to every bar setup, whether it’s a wedding, private party, corporate event, or pop-up. It’s a mix of art and hospitality, and I take pride in the fact that my service leaves a lasting impression.

What makes my business special is the personal touch — I work closely with clients to curate custom drink menus, create interactive bar moments, and tailor the experience to fit the mood and aesthetic of each event. It’s elevated service with a whole lot of heart.

Right now, I’m focused on expanding — I’m booking out more events, collaborating with other creatives and vendors, and looking into launching some fun branded merch and cocktail kits for people to enjoy at home. Stay tuned — this is only the beginning.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, the three qualities that have been most impactful in my journey are resilience, people skills, and adaptability.

-Resilience has been everything. This journey isn’t always smooth — there are setbacks, slow seasons, and unexpected challenges. But my ability to bounce back, stay hungry, and keep going no matter what has made all the difference.

-People skills have opened so many doors for me. Whether it’s connecting with clients, networking with vendors, or just being able to make guests feel comfortable at events — relationships are the heart of this business.
-Adaptability is a must. In mobile bartending, no two events are ever the same. You have to be quick on your feet, think creatively, and roll with whatever comes your way.

My advice: Build your mindset like a muscle. Stay grounded in your “why,” and let that carry you when motivation dips. also Be real, be kind, and be present. Learn how to listen, read the room, and communicate with intention. That will take you far in any industry and always stay curious. Keep learning, stay open to feedback, and don’t be afraid to try new things or pivot when needed. Growth lives outside your comfort zone

Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?

The most impactful thing my parents did for me was believe in me — even when I didn’t fully believe in myself. They planted the seed of confidence and faith that I could overcome anything life throws my way. But more than that, they taught me not to settle. Not in life, not in love, not in my purpose. They showed me by example that I deserve more than just “good enough,” and that I should always reach for what truly fulfills me. That mindset has been a game-changer. It’s helped me aim higher, trust my path, and keep pushing forward — even when the journey gets hard.
