Meet BAB Parties

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to BAB Parties. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have BAB Parties with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?

Our work ethic comes from how we were raised and the life we each have built. We grew up learning that showing up, working hard, and keeping your word matter. As moms and business owners, we don’t get the luxury of cutting corners—people are counting on us. That mindset is the foundation of BAB Parties and why we pour so much intention into every event.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

After 22 years of friendship, we turned our shared passion for celebrating life into BAB Parties – Gilbert, AZ’s trusted balloon décor and event styling company.

For us, it’s not just about balloons—it’s about weaving love, creativity, and personal touches into every project. Whether it’s a balloon garland for a baby shower in Mesa, a wedding backdrop in Chandler, or a graduation arch in Queen Creek, we believe every celebration deserves to be unforgettable.

Launching our Etsy shop was a natural next step for BAB Parties-it allows us to share our designs beyond local events while expanding our creative reach. At the same time, we’re intentionally growing our portfolio to include wedding décor and full event packages. From custom pieces to complete event styling, this expansion reflects our commitment to offering elevated, thoughtful experiences while building a brand that can grow with our clients through every milestone.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, the three most impactful things in our journey has been adaptability, relationship-building, and attention to detail. Being adaptable allowed us to pivot when things didn’t go as planned and grow instead of getting stuck. Building strong relationships—with clients, vendors, and our team—has been everything, because people remember how you make them feel long after the party ends. And attention to detail is what separates a good event from an unforgettable one.
For anyone early in their journey, my advice is simple: stay flexible and don’t be afraid to adjust your path, invest in people and your reputation before anything else, and obsess over the small things because they’re what clients notice most. You don’t have to know everything—just be willing to learn, show up consistently, and take pride in your work.

All the wisdom you’ve shared today is sincerely appreciated. Before we go, can you tell us about the main challenge you are currently facing?

Our number one challenge has been competing with other incredibly talented vendors offering similar services. The market is full of amazing creatives, so standing out means being intentional about showcasing our work, our style, and the experience we bring to every event. We focus on consistency, quality, and telling our story through our designs so clients can clearly see that we’re not just participating, we’re contenders in this space.
