Meet Barry Mezey

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Barry Mezey. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Barry, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

I grew up an outcast and as a bullied child with severe mental health disorders, disabilities and autism. I started my career as the world’s only and first special needs and autistic sports and celebrity marketing super agent in 2006. I worked at SMWW for a few months in the agent training program after graduating from NYIT and University of Miami. I then launched SMG aka Superstar Management Group, Inc. in 2007 and built an upcoming powerhouse agency over the next few years and eventually sold SMG in 2013 to a private equity firm. I formerly worked with major brands or clients in sports in entertainment who were very big names. Nowadays I’m focused on philanthropy utilizing Blockchain technology to create content creator jobs, affordable housing solutions, and more with the world’s very first special needs and mental health crypto utility rewards token thus KWAN 2.0 token was born in 2021 along with my public charity to help people in adults with special needs and mental health disorders.

I figured out due to the 97% unemployment rate for people with special needs and mental health disorders that the easiest job for someone to hold is being a content creator. I see girls that turn eighteen always wanting social media fame or to be famous that come from broken homes and or the foster care system and that often they have nowhere to turn except to porn or adult content creation and they don’t realize that this will ruin their lives. I want to help these vulnerable girls get out of the adult entertainment industry and get to do something positive with their lives. Thus I’m placing them into my reality television series on major streaming platforms such as (I.e. Roku, Apple TV, iOS, Android and Amazon Fire TV.) I am providing them an opportunity to do something meaningful with their lives utilizing my 501(c)(3) public charity the Barry Mezey Foundation For Autism, Inc. with our partnerships with RAD TV and Binge Networks two top streaming outlets reaching billions of viewers to create a consistent revenue source for these vulnerable girls to do something productive and positive with their lives. I want to empower people not to hurt them or prey upon them like the adult entertainment industry often harms them. I want to give these vulnerable girls an opportunity to spin them off into their own streaming series to have a better future. This is where I find my purpose coming from these days.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I’m just a normal humble guy who is trying to help people and change the world one kind soul at a time. Even though I’m a very well-known person I’m not a delusional star with my head of up butt thinking I’m better than everyone else pointing my snooty nose down upon people. I want to be “Jesus of the Blockchain” and truly change the world for the better. I was once incarcerated wrongfully on misdemeanors and that’s when I had an epiphany moment in a wake up call as I used to be very arrogant and a total prick. Nowadays I want to be Jesus and live my life like he did in helping so many people and oh yeah I’m Jewish so that’s saying a lot. I wish the world could just come together and everyone could just get along and give each other one big hug.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

I have had great mentors along the way and have been very blessed to lead a great life with no regrets. I admire most in people these three qualities: loyalty, kindness and honesty.

Yes! I’m seeking people in content creators with special needs, disabilities, autism and mental health disorders in 18+ year old adults that want to change their lives around for the better. We are also seeking consistent donors for our 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity to help create real world social impact not just B.S. awareness which so many other charities focus on awareness only and do absolutely nothing in reality to help people with real world social impact.
