Meet Bart Saric

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Bart Saric. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Bart, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
If I’m honest with myself, I feel my confidence and self-esteem was and still is continuing to develop from trial and error. The actual doing of something real that is honest in response. If you can’t cheat it, only to reason with it with integrity and a solid work ethic, then it is going to teach you something new every time you commit to dancing with whatever it is that compels and drives you to be passionate in life. Mine develops and continues to, when I’m engaged in the art of evolving through practice. The first hurdle is me forcing myself to do it, by showing up to be present and alert.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
Well, in the condensed version, I am a creative and expressive individual who loves to celebrate the independent positives in life and moving forward with natural growth from a P.M.A. Some of my acquired attributes turned professional skill sets are : painting, designing, illustrating, writing, filming, directing, producing. Not in that order. I’ve balanced honest crafts that led to other disciplines in their own natural progressions. Reacting to the influences and experiences led me on a path not taken by the populace. With core skateboarding, surfing, music, etc. as a part of my passions and freedoms, the path in the real has showed and taught me magically, if I choose to believe in it. The energies are there to be used and used wisely to evolve on a daily. Best version of self the goal each day. There is enough unnecessary challenge and pressures our species puts on one another. I rather find my good-best flows in the environments that are present to work in and move forward always aspiring to get better at them. Learning to have fun doing whatever it is, whether a challenge, or a privilege.

That being said, it seems I juggle a gamut of duties because I’ve always liked and sought out adventure. So, whether it is an assignment that actually calls for travel, or something isolated that challenges the imagination in my mind to travel beyond the ordinary and the obvious, I’m generally up for it. My hard work ethic and willingness to learn put me in raw situations that influenced other aspects of the processes to achieve goals set. Another reason I was able to gain the knowledge of multiple tasks from practice. With involvement in projects and productions that sometimes would call on a person to do it all, or the majority of what most didn’t want to do.

My skateboarding brand is “Skater Made”, skatermade.com. Please check out my now growing YouTube channel @MYMISTRIAL . Details about me and my professional creative side are slowly being installed on a new personal website, bartsaric.com . My insta-grams are “skater_made” & “ogb_artman” .

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
1) Presence. One must show up to make it happen. Be, or don’t be. Think simply in entering process. 2) Discipline. To achieve anything worthy one must earn it. To earn anything truly valuable the work must be put in. That means showing up and doing the thing. Again and again … it, whatever it is, will reveal more secrets / knowledgeable wealth when ones earned that.
3) Love. Love it, or leave it. Basically, to achieve any goal/achievement, longevity, or quality of attainment you have to love it someway, or some how. Your energy will shape its growth, light and glow. One has to love their experience to benefit from it, accordingly.

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?
I think the examples that are helpful to overcome challenges and build and develop one self appropriately is everywhere. Really have learned to understand the old saying “what most are looking for is right in front of them”. So, essentially if you strip it all down, remove the ego and honestly and earnestly empty yourself and commit to seeking and gravitating toward what you want to be and where you want to be … more times than not, the answers are close or the vision becomes clearer of where to look for that success and aspiration of self. The rest is what I mentioned before, showing up and putting in the work for the real rewards to find. A plus these days is the availability of information without leaving your home. But, there is the other side to everything, you need to weed through the fakes and amateurs to find the genuine and authentic knowledge, which turns into study. And don’t forget to use wisely as a tool and keep at it until you notice the positive changes and keep going. No limits, just limitations from time to time. And always remember to follow through to the very end to get the full effects of completion, knowledge and closure in any aspect of full bodied goals one attempts to accomplish. Stay stoked and creative for life.
