We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Bäsmini a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Bäsmini , thank you for being such a positive, uplifting person. We’ve noticed that so many of the successful folks we’ve had the good fortune of connecting with have high levels of optimism and so we’d love to hear about your optimism and where you think it comes from.
I believe my optimism comes from the fear of not succeeding in things I love to do. Yeah some people say you’re not supposed to be afraid of failure, but if it puts certain dreams and goals at risk, it’s all the more terrifying.

So when I try my best, I know I’ll succeed. That’s all I’ve ever wanted to do.

Bäsmini is an emerging artist based in Phoenix, Arizona that bursts onto the scene with his debut project, ‘Emergencies! With a distinct artistic vision, he delves. deep into the intricacies of rhythm and emotion, weaving a sonic tapestry that resonates with listeners. Bäsmini’s unique approach involves exploring the minds and emotions of others, creating a musical journey that transcends traditional boundaries. In the heart of the desert, he forges a path that goes beyond mere sound, immersing audiences in a dynamic experience where beats intertwine with the intricate landscapes of human thought and feeling, marking Bäsmini as a promising force in the music realm.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
I felt like becoming so in control of certain emotions, investing them into music and getting creative in modeling and fashion has really allowed me to express different parts of my personality in ways a lot of people would understand. Finding words through poems and producing beats that flow together becomes easier with time, and even now I’m still learning and growing… every single career I chase.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
I feel like the collaborations I’ll be looking for going forward are creatives in fashion, film, and music.

As my career progresses I realized how much fashion matters in both your public image & in visuals like videos, photography, and more. Being able to get new connections and build a brand through music is a dream of mine for sure.

Just like many artists are doing nowadays, I’d love to include film and visual albums in my portfolio going forward, because I wanna start revolutionizing my craft.
