Meet Becca Doyle

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Becca Doyle a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Becca , we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?
Resilience is one of the leading qualities I admire in Shannon. Since the day I met her 18 years ago, she’s unknowingly taught and fostered it in me. I would say the root of it comes from a deep desire to walk our authentic path…not just any path, but the one meant for us. We’ve learned over the years that it’s oftentimes the one of most resistance, but knowing we’re doing something we were created to do always leads to the best outcome for ourselves and our clients

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
Noria, formerly known as Situate is a business we birthed in 2020. Noria came about after feeling a bit burnt out by the interior design world we had been a part of off and on for (then) 14 years. We both felt a desire to create in a deeper more creative way. We decided after many months of soul searching, to combine all the passions we feel we were put on this earth for.
Design, art, and loving people and so from there our concept for an art+interior design business was born. To take your inspirational story (the client) and combine it with our design expertise as well as intuition to create artwork or a space that is uniquely you. A place you feel seen and celebrated.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
I’d say self awareness, flexibility and having a plan of attack. Self awareness keeps you in alignment with what will or will not be good for you.
Flexibility to be able to adjust to the ever changing life events that will try to kick you off kilter
Plan of attack because without that, no goals would be met

Tell us what your ideal client would be like?
Our ideal client values and respects people’s different gifts and wants to hire us specifically for ours. They value design and understand it goes beyond visual. They like the element of surprise and take pleasure in experiencing the simple things in life, well. They appreciate true connection and pursue growth on a personal level. They love travel, things with meaning and believe the time they enjoy wasting is not wasted time.
