Meet Becca K

We were lucky to catch up with Becca K recently and have shared our conversation below.

Becca, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
I get my strong work ethic from both my mother and grandmother. Growing up, I had the chance to closely observe their strong work ethic in action. They both worked incredibly hard and their dedication made a lasting impact on me. From an early age, I was exposed to their consistent and determined efforts, which left a deep impression on how I view work and life. Their commitment to putting in the hard work has shaped my perspective and I truly value the lessons I’ve learned from watching them. Their example continues to inspire me as I navigate my own path.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I’m BeccaK, and you might know me as @foodiebeccak on Instagram and TikTok, where I share all things food. But I’m gearing up for a fresh chapter ahead. I’ve got this itch to show more of my personal side, and that’s why I’m diving into @bxcca.k on both platforms.

Right now, life’s steering me towards trying out new stuff and really getting in touch with who I am. My personal page is going to be all about diving into fashion, beauty, travel, wellness, and finding my center. I can’t even tell you how thrilled I am about this new chapter. This shift is seriously exciting for me because it’s something I’ve always dreamt about, even when I was a kid. Little me would be really proud of how far I’ve come.

Down the road, I’m excited to blend my food and personal pages with some cool events and just continue to expand on both @Bxcca.K and @FoodieBeccaK because after all this is my passion. It’s like merging two parts of me into something awesome. The future’s looking bright, and I’m all set to embrace whatever comes my way.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
When I reflect on my journey, three key elements shine through: staying consistent, pushing through challenges, and managing my time wisely. For those starting out, I’d like to highlight the value of discipline. It means sticking to your goals, even when things are hard or you’re not in the mood. Developing these habits requires discipline – it’s like the base that supports consistency, persistence, and effective time management.

Awesome, really appreciate you opening up with us today and before we close maybe you can share a book recommendation with us. Has there been a book that’s been impactful in your growth and development?
A book that has been really important for my development and helped shape my growth is “The Four Agreements” by Don Miguel Ruiz and Janet Mills. It dives into the four agreements:be impeccable with your word, don’t take anything personal, don’t make assumptions, and always do your best . What’s great about the book is that it doesn’t just stop at explaining the principles and what they are ; it goes deeper into showing how they affect our everyday life. For example the book talks about not taking things personally. It points out that when someone says something, it’s more about their own thoughts or beliefs, and not really about us.This is what I believe to be the most valuable and impactful nugget of wisdom.
