We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Belee Kaur. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Belee below.
Belee, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
“I found my purpose by confronting my own journey and realizing my music speaks best when it’s honest and real.”

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
“I’m a singer and songwriter, and what excites me most about what I do is the ability to turn personal experiences and emotions into music that connects with people. There’s something truly special about seeing a song come to life and knowing it can make someone feel seen or understood. For me, music isn’t just performance—it’s a way to share my story, explore my creativity, and connect with others on a deeper level.”
“After a long journey of self-discovery and personal transformation, I’m finally ready to share my music with the world. This long-awaited first album reflects everything I’ve experienced, learned, and felt along the way—it’s a piece of my story, my growth, and my heart. I can’t wait for people to hear it.”

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Resilience – Music and life have a way of testing you, and learning to keep going, even when things felt impossible, was crucial.
Self-awareness – Understanding my own voice, emotions, and what I truly wanted from my art helped me stay authentic.
Curiosity and continuous learning – Whether it was about songwriting, performance, or the music industry itself, being willing to explore and grow made a huge difference.

If you knew you only had a decade of life left, how would you spend that decade?
“With only ten years to live, I’d spend every day devoted to Lord Krishna—practicing His teachings, serving others, and nurturing my spiritual journey.”
