We recently connected with Bella Kash and have shared our conversation below.
Bella , so great to have you with us and thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with the community. So, let’s jump into something that stops so many people from going after their dreams – haters, nay-sayers, etc. We’d love to hear about how you dealt with that and persisted on your path.
There are two kinds of people in this world. Those who want to do it and those who do it. If you are a DOER you don’t have time or energy for negativity. You are so driven within your own journey you don’t have time to be a hater.
Most haters feel they have the right project their personal insecurities onto others since they don’t have anything to be proud of, nothing to work toward, or have a positive contribution to add the world.
It’s always a personal issue within themselves. It honestly never has anything to do with person being HATED ON.
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I’ve done a lot of amazing jobs and choreographed for some of the best Companies. My most proud work is my kids dance team KASH KINETICS DANCE ACADEMY. We are a competition and performance team. We have done performances for Disney World, NASCAR, Alabama Carnival Parade just to name a few. I love working with kids in areas where resources are few. So much raw and unseen talent. Exposing them to opportunities outside their small town is my number one agenda.
I am a traveling all 2023/2024 doing Camps and work shops in a few states. I will be opening auditions for KKD in summer 2023 to continue to grow our team, and give these kids proper resources and training to broaden their horizons.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
First is never stop learning. I’m a teacher and I am quick to take a class, course, or mentorship. Secondly, give yourself grace. You have to know everything in your journey is meant to happen for a reason. Good or bad it will be a lesson of some sort for your future.
Thirdly build a team you trust. We love to yell self made but if and when you hit a certain level of success, you can not do everything on your own. It’s honestly impossible. You will need experts and knowledgeable resource around you. Network, get in those rooms, make them remember your face name and brand, build strong relationships and watch how things start to flow much smoother.
Awesome, really appreciate you opening up with us today and before we close maybe you can share a book recommendation with us. Has there been a book that’s been impactful in your growth and development?
This is gonna sound crazy but You can’t hurt me by David Goggins ….
I know he is like a crazy maniac of a motivational influence but hear me out.
A lot of people assume everything is supposed to be easy. Now not to say everything is supposed to be chaotic ALL THE TIME. However life is unpredictable. You can’t control what your parents did or don’t do, the environment you were born in ect. Best thing you can to is be resilient and be prepared.
If you dare want to do more the be in survival mode and achieve GREAT HEIGHTS you are gonna have to get use to being UNCOMFORTABLE. Learn you push yourself past your mental and physical limits.
Best nugget from this book “ to push past pain, demolish fear, and reach their full potential.”
