Ben, we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?

From making sooooo many important mistakes. Mistakes I’d never take back. Mistakes that all led to finding my purpose I think. Resilience is in shorter supply nowadays than ever. Turn on your phone and go on social media, you’ll find a million reasons to quit, she has a bigger following, he’s just natural in social situations, their art is a hundred times better than anything I could ever create… You have the sum of human knowledge, art, expression, idiocy, beauty, everything in your pocket. Resilience is a filter, it’s not necessarily armor that protects you from evil, it’s a transformative energy that turns adversity into opportunity.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I grew up in Maine and I moved down to Florida in 2019. I had a very creative spark as a child that slowly diminished as I aged and is finally starting to come back thankfully. What makes me thrive is making people feel heard and seen in the best possible light. Hearing people’s stories makes me thrive. Sharing people’s stories make me thrive. I focus on making videos that give people the best representation of themselves and their stories. Asking the right questions is one part of the equation, using the right equipment and techniques is another, and being trustworthy and fun to be around binds it all.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Failure is a fundamental to growth so if you want to grow, go fail a lot.
Every single person you meet has a role in the movie of life, you can learn a lot by being friendly and naturally curious about people other than yourself.
Good things take time, easy come, easy go.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?

I am always down to collaborate. I am located in Miami Florida but operate remotely for a lot of content as well. I am always happy to network with fellow creatives or help people who are less creative with their projects as well! Being a video professional, I tend to pair well with Photographers who like to stick to photography and want someone to cover the film end. I also thrive with entrepreneurs who are looking to build their business.
