Meet Bianca Arellano

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Bianca Arellano. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Bianca, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

Finding art for me did not come in instant nor did I know as a small child. Although, I have always dabbled in creative fields it was not until 2019 during the COVID pandemic when it began. I struggled immensely with my mental health during this time but as a way to cope with my anxiety I learned/explored Adobe photoshop. I began therapy around this time as well and it helped me channel my worries into something tangible. I started to digitally and artistically place myself in my dreams through digital collage and created worlds where I could explore different realities. I began working with a collection of vintage magazines I had picked up over the years, and started to piece together like a puzzle; collage.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

I am a digital collage artist that focuses on self-portraiture by combining both analog collage and graphic design. I currently own and operate an art business under the name Adorabeing where I sell prints, stickers, pins, etc. I love to vend my art creations in local events that include music, film & other artists. I love to host artistic workshops that fosters a welcoming space where anyone can allow their creativity to shine. I currently finished my first artist residency with Lounge Residency where I created a collection of works for my home city of San Bernardino. I hope for the future to continue to provide art workshops and work with other creative avenues like photography and film. My current artist work includes being a floating exhibitionist for The Chaffey Community Museum and my own art brand & website at www.adorabeing.com

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

I believe what has impacted me the most at the beginning of my journey was to stay curious and open to learning skills and allow that drive me further. The best piece of advice I can give to others is to just start, allow yourself to be an unskilled beginner. My dream to be an artist did not happen to second I made my first piece of art but rather cultivated itself the more I wanted to learn. Make bad art and allow yourself to fail because that is where you start to learn how to grow.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

Yes, I would love to collaborate with other artists and brands that allow me to design and foster their ideas. I have previous work designing cover art, flyers and backdrop needs. I am available for work and collaboration and you can connect with my through email or my instagram at @adorabeing.
