Meet Bianca Ellece

We were lucky to catch up with Bianca Ellece recently and have shared our conversation below.

Bianca, thank you so much for joining us. You are such a positive person and it’s something we really admire and so we wanted to start by asking you where you think your optimism comes from?
The seed was definitely planted by my Dad. He is also a full time entrepreneur, artist and overall dope induvial (@kenburney). My first thought when I hear the word OPTIMISM, takes me back to being in the car with my dad listening to the classic song Be Optimistic by Sounds of Blackness. This was early 90’s and although I was too young at the time to understand how impactful those lyrics were, to this day it stills resonates with me.

Optimism also aligns with wisdom for me. As you get older and experience life’s triumphs and losses. You learn that trials don’t last forever and majority of the time have a huge win on the other side! There’s also times where a win is a win! You don’t have to fight for it, just believing and having OPTIMISM awards you with an idea into fruition.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I am full time entrepreneur who loves all things marketing and social. Put it all together and you have a Social Media Manger. I have been working with different brand owners for 3 years now and its been the most rewarding experience thus far. I am the go to person when it comes to community building and engagement. I’m also a master at content creating right off of an IPHONE. Rather it’s recording top tier visuals or creating digitals via Canva. I’M YOUR GIRL!

I’ve recently released a Beginners Guide: The Ultimate Content Strategy eBook for small business owners. This was the most rewarding experience because it feels great being able to share all the tips and tricks I’ve learned. Social Media is a great tool for small business owners to create a community that is loyal and excited about their brand. This eBook teaches how to learn who your target audience is, content pillars, the power of consistency and includes 20 content ideas for a small businesses. Its truly valuable!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
I can tell you what the most impactful book is in my library that truly changed my life and its The 4 Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz. The four agreements are : Be Impeccable with Your Word, Don’t Take Anything Personally, Don’t Make Assumptions and Always Do Your Best. It is a short impactful read that I apply to my life daily. Every now and then I have to do a refresher and read it again! It is a great introduction book, especially for someone who is looking for a fresh start.

What’s been one of your main areas of growth this year?
My biggest area of growth in this year has been in finances and using the word NO! Being a one man band I not only have to manage clients, I have to manage my overall business. From content to bookkeeping, its my job to make sure everything is on the up and up. I had to learn to balance, look at metrics, predictions, save for a rainy day…all the things! After clients not paying on time and cancelling service without proper notice. I got to work!

I changed my entire onboarding process and created a funnel. I started saying NO to clients without a budget and YES to more stable clients. I always tell new business owners that it is imperative to have a funnel/systems for your business. When things are in place, in black and white. It tells the consumer how things are operated vs the consumer trying to tell you how to operate your business.
