Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Bianca Martin. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Bianca, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
My confidence and self esteem was extremely poor growing up. But once I met Jesus, and discovered that I was a child of the God that created the universe and that I was deeply loved. I realized no human or experience could hold me back from the life he’s prepared for me (Romans 8:31).

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I currently work in UGC creation for brands and behind the scenes in social media management, helping shape content and strategy that aligns with a brand’s vision. My background in modeling led me to discover that I’m most passionate about the production side of the work—concept development, creative direction, and building cohesive visual stories rather than being in front of the camera.
What excites me most is the creative production process behind an ad: curating aesthetics, refining brand image, and translating ideas into content that feels intentional and impactful. My goal is to continue expanding my clientele while growing into a creative director role, where I can lead storytelling and visual direction at a higher level. I’m currently focused on deepening my work with brands that value thoughtful, story-driven content and long-term creative vision.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
I think a lot of people who want to be entrepreneurs believe they have to acquire a degree in order to be successful. While a degree is a wonderful achievement that can absolutely add value to your professional portfolio, what matters more than what school you came from is your willingness to keep learning, adapting, and applying what you know in real time.
Looking back, the three most impactful things in my journey have been curiosity, adaptability, and self-initiative. Being curious pushed me to understand not just what I was creating, but why it worked. Adaptability allowed me to evolve with the fast pace of social media and brand trends. And self-initiative taught me how to build skills on my own, even without a traditional roadmap.
For anyone early in their journey, my advice is to treat learning as ongoing. Online certificate programs like Coursera or Google certifications are incredible tools to sharpen soft skills, gain intermediate knowledge, and explore new areas without waiting for permission or a formal setting. Combined with hands-on experience, they become another powerful tool in your belt, and often the one that sets you apart.

Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?
The Bible has played an important role in my development, both personally and professionally. I see it as a handbook for every area of life, including business and leadership. It’s helped shape how I carry myself as a woman in professional spaces, grounding me in integrity, wisdom, and confidence.
The lessons on leadership, serving well, leading with character, and making thoughtful, disciplined decisions, have been especially impactful and continue to guide how I approach my work and creative direction.
