We recently connected with Bievienea Harry and have shared our conversation below.
Bievienea, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
I set realistic goals for myself and practice positive self-talk. I also make time for my hobbies, and try out some new things to find out what I am passionate about.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
Hello, I am Bievienea and I am the owner of Pretty Girl Goals. PGG is an online platform where we believe in empowering and inspiring minority women to dream big, overcome life’s obstacles and manifest the life they deserve. Our mission is to provide products and services that not only bring creativity and innovation to your daily routine, but also help you set and achieve your goals.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Leadership, project management, and planning was impactful in my journey. You must be able to motivate your staff in order to get the best out of them and improve productivity. Also, allocate time to mentor and coach your employees. Starting a business means you will have to manage a range of projects, such as setting up a website, arranging the fit-out of your premises and developing a range of policies and procedures. Knowing how to effectively manage your resources, including time, money and staff will help you to achieve your goals.
One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
I am always looking to partner and collaborate with others, especially minority women who share the same or similar values as my organization. Our core values are diversity, authenticity, creativity & innovation, dream big, and empowerment.
