Meet Blair Monique Walker

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Blair Monique Walker a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Blair Monique, we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?
As a child, I was often told I couldn’t do things. The people who were supposed to encourage me the most, often discouraged me. When I came of age, I decided that what I believed about myself and what God thought of me was more important than any negative word spoken over me.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I get to work with amazing people daily. From the likes of Adam Blackstone, Beyoncé, Janet Jackson, Katt Williams, CeCe Winans, Tyler Perry, BET and many more. I also get to work with entrepreneurs/small businesses. That’s the heart of what I do. In music, I love to watch artists develop and walk in their creativity.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Being creative, fearless and humble drives every decision I make. Those 3 things are the reason I can step into any room and belong.

Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?
Someone who is willing to let me do what I was born to do. Go beyond limits and let creativity be the driving force for each project we work on.
