Blakeli, we are so happy that our community is going to have a chance to learn more about you, your story and hopefully even take in some of the lessons you’ve learned along the way. Let’s start with self-care – what do you do for self-care and has it had any impact on your effectiveness?

Enjoying hobbies outside of work! Reading or binging my favorite show after a long day! Enjoying life outside of work allows me to be more creative and show up for my clients as my best self everyday!

I am a licensed esthetician going on 10 years! I owned Bloom Spa and Co and recently joined with Vaein Aesthetics to bring a whole new experience to Dalton! We have had obstacles along the way with the pandemic being our first year in business to growing pains, but we are so grateful that we have been able to make it through bigger and better every time!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Being persistent, I was only 22 starting Bloom Spa and most thought I wouldn’t make it! Believing in your dream and never giving up is so important.
Enjoying the small accomplishments, not just the big! Every day you are able to open the doors or book a new client is a win, so enjoy the little things not just the big things!
Learning when to take a break. Most people will go until they are past the point of burnout, so take a break as much as needed to keep you fresh for those around you!

What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?

Standing by my side through it all! They have always been my number one supporters and helped when I needed help and gave me advice when I had no idea what to do!
