Hi Blanca , great to have you with us today and excited to have you share your wisdom with our readers. Over the years, after speaking with countless do-ers, makers, builders, entrepreneurs, artists and more we’ve noticed that the ability to take risks is central to almost all stories of triumph and so we’re really interested in hearing about your journey with risk and how you developed your risk-taking ability.

I am a risk taker. No second thoughts, I just do it! The future is a new realm of discovery and I work onto be open for what is next! My present is the guide and the reliance with the discipline drive me to move onto the future with no fear.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I am a Venezuelan independent filmmaker who was originally a theater producer and director. My parents where politically persecuted on the sixties so my grandmother the Countess of De Figarelli race me, the mother of my father. She open the interest for the arts in all its manifestation. The reward is that I has been nominated for and won national film awards (El Matiz de Bellorín, El reloj de Pandora) and has been internationally recognized. Also my most recently film The Bloody Rose Trilogy: Eye for Eye was officially selected and nominated as the best experimental film at the prestigious Fundación Cinemateca Nacional de Venezuela. Nominated as Best Experimental Short at the Festival Memoria y Cuenta 2024 Cinemateca Nacional. Grüber has also had films selected for the Cannes Short Film Corner, the Caracas Barquisimeto Film Festival, and the Badalona Filmets Festival. Grüber’s films are avant-garde and experimental, especially influenced by German Expressionism, Magical Realism, and Surrealism. The complexity and interplay of multi-layered imagery, and my original scores, and the expression of movement and dance combine to create narratives with dramatic psychological and emotional impact.
I am working on finishing a film trilogy a project where I include Venezuelans talents from all over the world.
Also I am working on to promote a new area on the film where I want to specializing in. The Title Sequences.
So far lost activities on my desk plus traveling all over the country. Is a passion!

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

My creativity is the main ride on mine formation as an artist also in most of all art discipline a choose created in.
Self thought, keep yourself updated onto your interest.
Never stop your dreams.
Be gentle, your empathy and determination are your best endeavors.

Any advice for folks feeling overwhelmed?

When I feel overwhelmed I do yoga, I walk by nature, meditate, analyze and reflect over my behavior and try to learn from my mistakes no matter how hard could be the process. Better face it! Uncertainty is drive by fear. Discipline brake all fears!
