We recently connected with Bolor Saruul and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Bolor, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
My work ethic comes from my upbringing and how hard I saw my parents working. I was raised to understand it as a very positive value and the path to self-reliance.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I am an actor based in Los Angeles, CA and am focused on growth, both personally and professionally. I’ve recently come across a definition of that word that I love: growth is discomfort in the new. I want to accomplish goals outside of acting and achieving, such as developing a daily practice of gratitude. And professionally, I want to become a better actor (don’t we all?) and especially start flexing my writing muscles.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
The three qualities that I believe were most impactful are belief in self, understanding the importance of ongoing improvement, and having a sense of humor. I think with these three skills, anybody can see progress in the pursuit of their goals.
Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
I would love to collaborate with fellow actors, writers, directors, and artists who are looking to collaborate on stories and content! You can reach out to me via IG @ bolor_saruul.
