Meet Bradey Hall

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Bradey Hall. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Bradey below.

Hi Bradey , so happy to have you with us today and there is so much we want to ask you about. So many of us go through similar pain points throughout our journeys and so hearing about how others developed certain skills or qualities that we are struggling with can be helpful. Along those lines, we’d love to hear from you about how you developed your ability to take risk?
My ability to take risk in business was developed when I was a kid. I was the kid who sold candy out of their locker and made money when the schools wouldn’t sell candy. It was a business opportunity that I knew I couldn’t pass up. When I realized money is a tool and you had to make it work for you. I really started looking at risk in a different way.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I always loved working with a camera and it wasn’t until I lost my job during covid I realized what my path was supposed to be. I lost my housing, my job and needed a new car at the time and I decided to spend all my money on a camera. I told myself I will be able to live the life I want and that I will never work for someone who didn’t apricate me. I pack my bags and with my head hanging low I moved into my parents house to start building what is now River Ambassadors Media. I lost several 9 to 5 jobs and knew that I just wasn’t meant to be in an office.

The idea behind River Ambassadors Media was to photograph the outdoors and be someone who didn’t just photograph it but someone who lived it. As a fly fishing guide, hunting guide and outdoor enthusiast I knew that I would have an advantage over other photographers and videographers in the outdoor industry. When shooting nature it is more than just knowing how to use a camera.

When looking back at where I was and where I am now in my career it makes me smile because I went through the hard times to come out in a better place and I am incredibly grateful for it. The business continues to grow but the hard work will never stop.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
I believe that three important qualities a person can have is a hard work ethic, ability to learn and the most important is to have patience . Starting a business is no easy task and doesn’t happen over night. Mistakes will be made and you will expect results right away. However, remain patient with yourself and things will fall into place as long as you are continue to work for what you want.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
I am always looking for other outdoor enthusiasts and outdoor companies to work with. Additionally, I always like to connect with other photographers and videographers in the outdoor media industry.
