Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Bradley Pluth. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Bradley, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
Confidence comes from knowing what to do. That simple truth has shaped my journey as a coach, a player, and a person. Early on, I realized that confidence doesn’t magically appear—it’s built through preparation, clarity, and consistent action. When you know what to do in a situation, whether it’s a six-foot putt under pressure or a tough decision in business, you can step into it with purpose instead of hesitation.
For me, confidence and self-esteem developed through a combination of learning, practice, and reflection. I invested time into studying the game—not only the golf swing, but practice strategies, games, drills and exercises, golfing mindset, on-course strategy and preparation—so that I could rely on knowledge instead of guesswork. That same approach carried into coaching. The more I studied and experimented with technology like GEARS, Trackman, and BodiTrak, the more certainty I had in my ability to help golfers improve. Knowledge created a foundation, but practice turned that knowledge into performance.
Self-esteem, on the other hand, came from aligning who I am with what I do. When my values—family, faith, and service—lined up with my daily actions, I felt a deeper sense of worth and purpose. I wasn’t just chasing results; I was living out a mission to coach, train, and equip others with the tools to reach their goals. That alignment built an inner confidence that didn’t depend on wins or losses.
Of course, there were plenty of set backs along the way. But instead of letting those break me down, I used them as lessons. Everything happens for a reason. Every setback was a chance to get better, and over time, that mindset gave me resilience. Confidence isn’t the absence of doubt—it’s knowing you’re prepared, grounded, and willing to keep showing up. Staying curious throughout life and questioning how things really work has also helped.
That’s how I’ve built my own confidence and self-esteem, and it’s how I coach others to do the same.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
My life mission is to **coach, train, and equip golfers** to reach their biggest goals, both on and off the course. Since 1998, I’ve helped thousands of golfers refine their skills, shift their mindset, and gain clarity on how to play with more purpose.
What excites me most about my work is the intersection of **science, art, and personal growth**. Golf is so much more than mechanics — it’s movement patterns, decision making, self-belief, strategy, and consistency, and ultimately about developing relationships with your self, and others.
When a student goes from uncertainty to clarity, when they “see” what is possible, that lightbulb moment is electric. I love helping people translate theory into feel, data into insight, and fear into confidence.
Some things I want folks to know about what we’re building:
Holistic coaching: I don’t just fix swings. We look at movement patterns, course strategies, mental habits, practice systems, and the alignment of their golf life with their wider purpose.
Online and in-person reach**: While I teach hands-on in Minnesota (notably, at places like Dick’s House of Sport in Minnetonka), I also deliver online programs and coaching so that golfers around the world can tap into this approach.
Signature courses & pathways: One of our flagship offers is “Break 100 in 12 Weeks or Less,” designed to give players a clear, proven roadmap to drop out of the 100s.
Commitment to growth**: I’m always testing new methods and products, reading and listening to podcasts and books, working with technology, and refining what works. The brand isn’t static — it evolves as I discover better ways to serve.
What’s new? I’m excited about expanding my coaching programs for families and junior development, adding new events and in-person intensives that help players integrate “on-course performance” rather than just practice swing mechanics. Also, keep your eyes open for new product or training tool launches — I believe tools should empower growth, not distract from the core.
In short: what I’d love for people to walk away with is this: I believe every golfer has room to grow, and that growth happens when you combine clarity, practice, strategy, and belief. My brand is here to make that journey as clear, meaningful, and effective as possible.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Looking back, three qualities stand out as the most impactful in my journey: curiosity, consistency, and communication.
Curiosity fueled everything. I’ve always had a desire to understand how things work—whether it was the biomechanics of the swing, the psychology of performance, or how technology like GEARS, Trackman, and Motion2Coach could uncover hidden patterns. That curiosity kept me learning, experimenting, and evolving. For those early in their journey, my advice is simple: ask better questions. Be curious about why something works, not just whether it works. That mindset will keep you growing long after you’ve learned the basics.
Consistency built confidence. I didn’t get to where I am by having one great lesson or one breakthrough moment—it was about showing up daily, both for myself and for my students. Consistency creates trust, and trust is the foundation of growth. If you’re starting out, focus less on perfection and more on repetition. Whether it’s private coaching or going into school with 70 in a class, pushing the environment and sharing my message with as many golfers as possible has been a driving force. Build small, sustainable habits that move you forward a little each day. Over time, consistency compounds into confidence.
Communication tied it all together. Knowing something is one thing—being able to explain it clearly and connect it to someone’s goals is another. Golfers don’t just need information; they need inspiration, clarity, and belief. Early in my career, I learned that if I could adapt my language to fit the way a student learns, the impact was ten times greater. For anyone early on, invest in your ability to listen deeply, explain simply, and inspire confidence in others.
If I had to sum it up: stay curious, stay consistent, and never stop sharpening how you connect with people. Those three areas will not only help you succeed—they’ll help you build a journey worth being proud of.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
Yes, collaboration is something I’m always open to, because golf—and personal growth—are bigger than any one person or program. I believe the best results come when experts bring their strengths together to create something greater for players and families.
I’m especially looking to collaborate with:
Golf professionals and coaches who share a growth mindset and want to expand their impact through structured player development pathways.
Businesses and organizations that want to use golf as a bridge for building community, leadership, and relationships.
Innovators in golf tech and training aids who are developing tools that truly help golfers gain clarity, improve faster, and enjoy the game more.
Local leaders, schools, and youth programs who want to introduce more families to the game in a way that’s fun, sustainable, and meaningful.
My ideal customers are golfers and families who are passionate about improving—not just their scores, but their overall experience with the game. That includes:
Adult golfers who want a clear, proven roadmap to lower scores without wasting time on random tips.
Junior players who are preparing for high school, college, or competitive golf, and need both skills and strategies to succeed.
Families who want to play, practice, and grow together, creating memories and traditions around the game.
Serious players who value data-driven coaching, purposeful practice, and a customized plan to reach their personal best.
If you’re someone who values growth, clarity, and community—and you believe golf can be a lifelong game that teaches more than just swing mechanics. My only prerequisite for lessons is that you must have a goal! I’d love to connect.
