Meet Bradley Valentin

We recently connected with Bradley Valentin and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Bradley with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?

My work ethic comes from my parents. Watching how my mother worked and came home to cook and help me and my siblings with our school work was impressive. My step-father would work 1-2 jobs to make sure the household needs were met.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I am what you call a multidisciplinary artist of every sense of the word. Some how along this journey, I have created a creative hub that I am working smart to build into an empire.

I founded and own ColorMe Media. This multi media and cultural creative company exist in different industries. We have brands under the CMM that operate in entertainament, music, model management, advertising & marketing. ColorMe Media alo partners with recruitment agencies such as a boutigue ageny called moun staffing.
While this is going on, I am very focus on building my music career. Working on new music and performing around the city.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Songwriting.
Advice: find instrumentals. Jam, freestyle and eventually start jotting down 4 – 8 bars.
Make that a weekly practice

Creative Producing
Advice: Create mock ads. Pick an ad you like and create a campaign. Do this enough where you build your creative production skill. It helps to collaborate with other creatives.

Managing a team.
Advice: First learn how to manage yourself. Discover your strengths and weaknesses. It will help you manage others.

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?

The person that was most helpful, even tho I didn’t know it at that time, was my late Godfather,
Jonathan Hicks.

He instilled confidence in me. He believe if you had a vision, that means it was given to you for a reason and if you are called to it, then you must do it. He would say that once you made the move and believe, God will meet you with bigger steps. You will meet the right people on journey.
