Meet Brandi Blocker

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Brandi Blocker. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Brandi, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?

Finding my purpose was deeply personal and inspired by a cherished family connection. LaPierre Cosmetics was born from a desire to honor my mother, Jacquelyn Marie LaPierre. She epitomized grace and elegance, and we shared many precious moments over nail polish. When she was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2013, we faced the challenge of finding safe nail polish options for her. This experience sparked the creation of LaPierre Cosmetics, a brand dedicated to eco-friendly beauty that promotes love, family, and meaningful experiences. Through this venture, I’ve been able to create a legacy that reflects my mother’s spirit and passion.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

At LaPierre Cosmetics, our mission is simple yet powerful: to provide clean, healthy beauty products that not only enhance your look but also support a healthier lifestyle and a better planet. We believe that beauty should not come at the expense of your health or the environment. This passion has driven us to create a unique range of products that are vegan, non-toxic, cruelty-free, and formulated without the ten harmful chemicals often found in many beauty brands.

Our lineup includes everything from vibrant nail lacquers and luxurious lipsticks like our signature “Muah” to our gentle, non-toxic nail polish remover. Each product is designed with the well-being of our customers in mind, offering a safe, fashionable, and affordable alternative to traditional beauty products. We take pride in pushing the clean beauty movement forward by setting a new standard—one where all beauty products can be both effective and safe.

What makes LaPierre Cosmetics special is our unwavering commitment to inclusivity. Clean beauty should be accessible to everyone, and our products reflect that belief. We offer a variety of shades and formulas to suit all skin tones and preferences, ensuring that everyone can find something they love.

I am also incredibly proud of the partnerships and collaborations we’ve built with industry giants like Universal Studios, DreamWorks, Amblin Entertainment, and Peanuts Worldwide. These partnerships have allowed us to amplify our mission and reach even more people with our clean beauty message.

Looking ahead, the future of clean beauty is bright and exciting. Consumers are becoming more conscious about the sustainability and environmental impact of the products they use, and we are thrilled to be at the forefront of that shift. As we continue to grow, LaPierre Cosmetics will remain dedicated to offering fashionable, sustainable, and clean products that you can feel good about using. Stay tuned for new launches, expansions, and innovations as we continue to evolve and set new trends in the beauty industry.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

There are three impactful qualities or skills that have been very impactful during my journey.

My vision to create healthier, more inclusive beauty products has shaped LaPierre Cosmetics. For those early in their journey, finding a purpose that resonates with you is crucial. Passion is what drives persistence, so make sure your vision is something you truly care about.

2. **Adaptability and Learning**: I always have to make sure that I am continuously learn and adapt to the evolving beauty industry. From understanding product formulation to navigating business partnerships, staying curious and open to learning is essential. My advice is to constantly seek out new knowledge—whether it’s through formal education, networking, or hands-on experience. Flexibility in adjusting to challenges or trends will serve you well.

3. **Building Relationships and Partnerships**: The strategic collaborations that I have formed with major brands like Universal Studios and DreamWorks show the power of building relationships. For those starting out, focus on networking and creating meaningful connections with people in your industry. Is there a particular challenge you are currently facing?

My biggest challenge is keeping up with the fast-paced changes in social media while continually building momentum to sustain product visibility. To overcome this, I’m staying proactive by researching new trends, tools, and algorithms regularly to better understand how to engage with our audience. I’ve also invested in social media management tools and built a dedicated team to help with content creation and scheduling. This allows us to be more agile and consistent with our messaging, ensuring that we maintain strong brand awareness despite the constant shifts in the digital landscape.
