Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Brandon Alonso. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Brandon , so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
Finding my purpose through Jotwheelz has been an incredible journey. It all started with my passion for diecast cars, customizing them, and sharing that excitement with others. What began as a hobby grew into something much bigger—a way to connect with a community that shares the same love for creativity and collecting.
Through Jotwheelz, I discovered that my purpose is not just about creating custom diecast models but inspiring others to pursue their passions and think outside the box. Every design, video, and interaction has reinforced my belief in the power of creativity and community. It’s fulfilling to see how something as small as a diecast car can spark joy and bring people together.
For me, Jotwheelz is more than a brand—it’s a way to express myself, inspire others, and keep pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
Jotwheelz is a creative and dynamic brand focused on diecast cars, particularly Hot Wheels. It embodies a passion for the hobby through engaging content such as custom car designs, unboxing videos, collecting tips, and exploring diecast culture. With a focus on creativity, craftsmanship, and storytelling, Jotwheelz appeals to collectors, enthusiasts, and anyone who loves the artistry of miniature cars. The brand blends fun, inspiration, and education, while also fostering a growing community of like-minded fans.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
1. Creativity and Innovation:
My ability to think outside the box and approach diecast cars in a unique way—whether through custom designs, engaging storytelling, or fresh video concepts—was a game-changer. Creativity made my content stand out and kept the audience coming back.
Advice: To develop creativity, immerse yourself in your craft. Watch others’ work for inspiration, but don’t be afraid to experiment. Take risks with your ideas and allow yourself the freedom to fail and learn.
2. Consistency and Discipline:
Growing a brand like Jotwheelz required sticking to a schedule and consistently putting out quality content. It wasn’t just about posting frequently; it was about showing up even when motivation wasn’t at its peak.
Advice: Develop habits that align with your goals. Break your larger goals into smaller, manageable steps and commit to those every day. Success comes from persistence over time.
3. Community Engagement and Communication:
Building relationships with followers and fellow enthusiasts played a huge role in my growth. Interacting with the community, listening to their feedback, and collaborating made Jotwheelz more than just a brand—it became a movement.
Advice: Be authentic in your interactions. Respond to comments, ask for feedback, and create opportunities for collaboration. Building genuine connections can help you grow faster and stay inspired.
Final Tip:
Start where you are with what you have. Many people hesitate because they feel unprepared, but the best way to learn is by doing. As you begin, focus on improving 1% every day. Small steps lead to big transformations.
Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?
When I feel overwhelmed, the first thing I do is pause and take a step back. I remind myself that it’s okay to feel this way—it’s a natural response to juggling a lot at once. Here’s what works for me:
Break It Down: I list everything on my mind and prioritize tasks by importance. Tackling one thing at a time makes the load feel lighter.
Take a Breather: Sometimes, a short walk, a workout, or even just a few minutes of deep breathing helps me reset and regain focus.
Lean on My Passions: For me, working on Jotwheelz—designing or customizing a diecast—acts as a creative outlet. It allows me to channel that energy into something I enjoy, which calms my mind.
Ask for Help: Over time, I’ve learned that reaching out to others for support or advice isn’t a sign of weakness; it’s a strength.
Reframe the Situation: I try to focus on the progress I’ve made instead of being overwhelmed by what’s left to do.
My advice is to give yourself grace, focus on small wins, and find something that helps you recharge—whether it’s a hobby, spending time with loved ones, or simply stepping away for a moment. Balance is key, and it’s okay to take things one step at a time.
