Meet Breaja Morgan

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Breaja Morgan. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with BreAja below.

Hi BreAja, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?

How I developed my confidence and self-esteem is from my family. I always grew up with my family being my #1 confidence boost. They gave me my flowers in that area of my life which helped me grow into loving myself.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

My name is BreAja Morgan and I am from Ohio. I am a model and have been modeling for about 4 years now. Currently saving and planning to move to NYC to further my modeling career. My dream is to be on billboards and work with dream companies and eventually create my own company.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

The first advice I can give for the modeling industry is to never compare yourself to other people. This is such a competitive industry and casting directors are looking for specific things in their models so if you don’t meet that criteria don’t let it effect you and don’t compare yourself to their requirements because there are so many other opportunities out there. The second and third advice I would say is to be genuine, and never give up. There can be evil people in this world and you never know who has good intentions but as long as you stay genuine, your good will come back to you.

Alright, so before we go we want to ask you to take a moment to reflect and share what you think you would do if you somehow knew you only had a decade of life left?

A current challenge I’m facing is feeling stuck. Being in your mid 20’s is tough because you feel like you’re not doing enough and that you should be doing more. You see so many people your age doing things that you’re not necessarily doing and it could make you feel behind. But, I just keep reminding myself that everyone moves at their own pace and that is okay.
