Meet Breck (Brecreation) Seiniger

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Breck (Brecreation) Seiniger. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Breck (Brecreation) below.

Breck (Brecreation), looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
My work ethic is grounded in the firm belief that you can create whatever lifestyle you desire and make a positive impact in the community. I draw inspiration from the pursuit of greatness and the fear of falling into mediocrity by not reaching my full potential. Growing up in an academically-driven environment, while simultaneously pursuing a creative music career, provided a unique upbringing. This fueled my determination to break barriers and demonstrate that creative passion and excellence can thrive even in unconventional paths.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I’m a 27 year old hip hop artist repping the DMV! I pride myself as a diverse artist that creates a variety of styles and sounds. Right now I’m on tour with Monsters Dance as their artist/DJ and I’m releasing new songs every month that tell different stories and fill different pockets of my artistry. I’ve also been connecting with larger brands like Oreo, LG, Pathwater & more to create custom hip hop songs/jingles that can be used in commercial settings, watch me take over in 2024!!

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
1. My taste. As artists, our taste is everything. I’ve always had a really unique and reliable ear for what sounds good and what isn’t there yet. That taste has allowed me to release quality music, explore into different genres & sub genres while still feeling authentic, and has put my creative direction and image a step above my peers.

2. Audio engineering abilities. For the 99% of us that don’t have a fat budget to start out with, it’s crucial to become self sufficient and learn to maximize your output with little to no funds. Any money that I would’ve put into studio time, I invested directly into the equipment so I owned it. Obviously I had no idea how to use it at first, but YouTube & people in your area can show you the way. Now I record/mix all my own music and I do it on MY terms.

3. Social media savyness. Learning what’s working for other people and how to apply it to your own career is what separates “big” artists from “small” ones.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
1000%. Instrument players. Stylists and designers. Photographers, videographers and creative editors. People who have a WEIRD/RANDOM skill that needs to be shared with the world. Let’s make magic
