Meet Bre’elle Hamilton

We recently connected with Bre’elle Hamilton and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Bre’elle, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
Honestly, it took me a while to gain the confidence and self esteem I have today! But what helped me the most over the years was making a list of the things I absolutely loved about myself and then making another list of the things I wanted to improve on! In doing so I began to realize that my positive list outweighed my negative list and from that point on I learned to embrace my biggest insecurities, step outside of my comfort zone and truly work on being my best self and after a while I grew to LOVE what I was most insecure about! I also started to notice that most of the insecurities I had came from me being too hard on myself at times.

So if I could give any advice to people out there struggling with feeling confident it would be to -Love yourself on your good days and Love yourself even more on your bad days because we all have them and its okay to reset and regroup! But always remember Who You Are!!

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you? Growing up I was a very creative person when it came to school projects or just making fashion collages for my room decor and according to some of my childhood friends I always wanted to be in charge LOL ! But honestly I felt like I was just a natural born leader and creative and over years I realized that I wanted to inspire others and push them to truly believe in themselves! Which is part of the reason why I started my own Training and Nutrition Company! I had been doing Track & Field since I was 10 years old and over time health and fitness had become a huge part of my life! So when I started my business “Straight Fitnessin” I was like – “BINGO!” I can motivate and inspire people, create content and videos, help build people’s confidence and be a leader all at the same time! It was like a win, win situation! These days my business is dedicated to impacting people’s lives through Health and Fitness and providing services to youth and student athletes as well.

In the years ahead, my brand- “Straight Fitnessin” plans on expanding on an even bigger scale by opening our first commercial gym facility. This will allow us to impact others beyond just our online platforms. So you will definitely be seeing more of Straight Fitnessin in the near Future!

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Three qualities I would say that have helped my journey tremendously was being Self-efficient, Persistent, and Confident! These traits allowed me to walk into a room and speak highly about my brand and not doubt myself one bit (Confidence). It also allowed me to gain skills and knowledge that I could use in my personal life and in my business (Self Efficient) and it gave me the strength to keep going on even my toughest days(Persistent)!

Some advice I would give to others on implementing or improving on these traits is simply by rating how well you are at each one and working on them consistently throughout your journey and over time you will definitely see improvements!

What’s been one of your main areas of growth this year?
I think my biggest improvement has been learning how to give myself more gratitude than what I do! Sometimes as an entrepreneur learning how to congratulate yourself on even the small accomplishments can be difficult because your mindset is sometimes always focused on what’s next or how you can do more and because I’m my biggest critic I have certainly learned to give myself more grace and praise for the things I’ve accomplished and in doing so I have enjoyed my entrepreneurial journey even more for that!
