Meet Breianna Bass

We were lucky to catch up with Breianna Bass recently and have shared our conversation below.

Breianna, thank you so much for making time for us today. We’re excited to discuss a handful of topics with you, but perhaps the most important one is around decision making. The ability to make decisions is a key requirement for anyone who wants to make a difference and so we’d love to hear about how you developed your decision-making skills.
For me, I don’t take too much time to make decisions because you loose time. I usually go with what makes sense in every situation even if it’s not the solution I wanted.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
Chef Bre Bass is a private chef in Memphis that specialize in private dinners for families and couples in TN and surrounding areas. We are successful at creating customized experiences right in your home. And I feel that’s what makes my business unique and special because all of my clients get their experience just for them.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
The things that I have learned on my journey are really simple to mess up. Number one, I learned that having a positive attitude towards people will take you a long way. It pays nothing to be nice, approachable, and respected. Two, Be knowledgable of the field you are in because your clients are looking at you for the answer. And three, be yourself! find who you are and show up as that always.

Tell us what your ideal client would be like?
My ideal client is someone(s)who is well versed in food. People who aren’t afraid to try global cuisines. Middle aged and who would love to have good conversation while I am preparing their meals. Also, someone who will give free range on me doing the menu.
