Meet Brev Sullivan

We were lucky to catch up with Brev Sullivan recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Brev, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?

I learned the skill set for music by watching my favorite musicians perform. I would read about how they achieved success and try to emulate what they did

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

Im a Florida based guitarist, keyboardist, and vocalist. and have performed with and appeared with artists such as Lita Ford, Kip Winger and played as a soloist in the Miami Symphony Orchestra.. I was in the Warner Bros Movie Rock of Ages (2012) with Tom Cruise in the fictional band Aresenal. I’ve had the pleasure of touring with my Father Jazz legend and 5 time Grammy Nominated Ira Sullivan. I have a new rock album out called ”Arena Summer’ now avail on streaming platforms such as Apple Music.. I’m currently also recording albums and songs with a Miami based group rhe Blue Road Records Studio Seesions Band.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Good parenting when you are growing up is important. If you are doing something creative like art or music, or dreaming up an invention, or building a business, follow your heart and don’t stop until you have achieved that goal. Time management is also important.

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?

‘Feel the Fear and do it Anyway’ by Susan Jeffers. Starting a new venture at any time in your life may be be difficult. It may have an even greater impact on your family or friends who depend on you and your time. As long as you maintain proper time management you can develop the new skill set and still be the family member they depend on.
