Meet Bri Haswell

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Bri Haswell. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Bri, appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?

My resilience is rooted in my mother’s strength and my father’s love. As a family, we’ve endured many challenges, but what defines us is the way we’ve always faced them together, overcoming each obstacle as one.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I am a multifaceted businesswoman, but at the heart of everything I do is a simple dream: to feed and nurture people. My journey began in Texas as a chef, where I spent years creating meals that brought comfort and care to schools, hospitals, and community organizations. Over time, my path led me into brand development—public relations, event curation, brand strategy, and production—where I’ve been fortunate to help shape the stories and successes of both emerging talents and well-known names in entertainment and business.
Today, I find myself at a really exciting intersection of these two worlds. I’ve stepped back into the kitchen with new ventures that combine my love for food with my expertise in brand architecture. It’s about creating experiences that nourish people—whether that’s through a dish, an event, or a brand story. I want to give others an inside look at what’s thriving in the luxury and hospitality space while also contributing something new, fresh, and forward-thinking to the industry.
What excites me most is not only where I’ve been, but where this journey is headed: blending creativity, culture, and community in ways that inspire and invite people to connect. My work is about more than building brands—it’s about shaping moments that last, and I welcome anyone curious about what’s next to join me on this journey.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

The three qualities that have been most impactful in my journey are: first, learning to accept what I cannot change without letting it dictate my emotions or my output; second, choosing to remain kind, even in moments when others are not; and third, leading every situation with truth, transparency, and honesty.
My advice to those just starting out is to embrace the power of small, intentional steps. I live by the business philosophy of Kaizen—continuous improvement through consistent, daily action. Real growth doesn’t come from giant leaps, but from the discipline of steady progress. Consistency is where transformation truly happens.

Awesome, really appreciate you opening up with us today and before we close maybe you can share a book recommendation with us. Has there been a book that’s been impactful in your growth and development?

I have two books that have helped my development both personally and professionally. A book that played a meaningful role in my development is Eat Pray Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. What resonated most with me was the reminder that it’s never too late to reinvent yourself and seek out the pieces of life that truly nourish you—whether that’s food, love, spirituality, or self-discovery.
The wisdom I carried from it is the importance of embracing curiosity and allowing yourself to explore different chapters of life without guilt. That idea has shown up in my own journey—moving from the kitchen into brand architecture, and now blending both worlds again. Another powerful lesson was the value of presence: slowing down enough to savor the experiences that shape you, just as you would savor a meal. For me, it reinforced that success isn’t only about achievement, but about living fully and authentically along the way.
The book that has had a lasting impact on me is Kaizen: The Key to Japan’s Competitive Success by Masaaki Imai. The philosophy of Kaizen—continuous improvement through small, consistent steps—completely shifted how I approached both my personal life and my career.
The most valuable lesson I took away is that transformation doesn’t happen overnight; it’s built moment by moment, choice by choice. That wisdom carried me from my early days in the kitchen, where every dish taught me patience and precision, to the world of brand development, where small daily refinements can lead to extraordinary results. Another powerful nugget from Kaizen is the idea that improvement is never-ending—you can always refine, elevate, and grow. That mindset keeps me grounded while also pushing me to move forward with resilience and vision.
