Meet Bria McGee

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Bria McGee. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Bria below.

Bria, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.

My confidence and self-esteem were developed at home first. I was really fortunate to grow up in a family that met all of my needs, loved on me, and constantly encouraged me to step outside of my comfort zone. My immediate family introduced me to new experiences early on—whether that was trying something creative, speaking up for myself, or just being open to learning.

I was always a very girly girl—I loved getting my hair and nails done, playing in makeup, and even participating in beauty pageants like Teen USA. Those experiences taught me how to carry myself with pride and express who I am authentically. Feeling beautiful inside and out became part of my foundation, and over time, I developed the mentality of “I am she!”—that confidence comes from knowing who I am and embracing it fully.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I am a lifestyle content creator and aesthetic enthusiast, passionate about curating experiences, visuals, and content that inspire and elevate everyday living. What I love most about what I do is the opportunity to combine creativity with intentionality—sharing ideas, products, and moments that feel both beautiful and authentic.

Right now, I’m working on a couple of exciting new projects that will allow me to pivot from my corporate role and return to my roots in entrepreneurship and branding. These initiatives are all about creating spaces and experiences that feel intentional, elevated, and uniquely mine.

For anyone interested in following along, you can connect with me on all my social media platforms at @therealbriam to see updates, launches, and more of what I’m building.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, the three qualities that have been most impactful in my journey are confidence, an eye for visuals, and authenticity.

For me, confidence is the foundation—it’s what truly sells, regardless of your scale, platform, or financial bracket. Confidence isn’t about external factors or accolades; it’s about trusting your abilities and giving yourself permission to turn your ideas and dreams into something beautiful, even if they’re not permanent or fully formed yet. I believe every human is inherently valuable and deserving of existence, and recognizing that inner worth is what builds real confidence.

Having an eye for visuals has been crucial in expressing ideas and creating work that resonates. Whether it’s how content is framed, styled, or presented, being able to see and curate visual details helps your work connect, stand out, and tell a story without needing words.

Finally, authenticity is key. People can tell when something feels genuine versus forced. Staying true to yourself—your voice, your style, your story—creates trust and meaningful connections with others.

My advice for those early in their journey is to practice all three intentionally: trust yourself and your instincts, sharpen your eye for visuals by observing and experimenting, and always honor who you are in everything you create. Confidence, a strong visual sense, and authenticity together will take you further than any external validation ever could.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

Yes! For the current project I’m working on, I’m looking to connect with brand ambassadors, hairstylists, and potential investors who are excited about collaborating and growing something intentional and creative.

If you’d like to connect, you can email me at [email protected] or DM me on Instagram @therealbriam. I’m always open to meaningful partnerships and conversations with people who share a similar vision.
