Meet Brian Arnold

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Brian Arnold. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Brian below.

Brian , thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?

My resilience is deeply rooted in a combination of faith, personal growth, and overcoming obstacles. As a former special education student, I learned early on what it means to face challenges head-on. I struggled with labels and limitations that were placed on me, but I refused to let those define my future. My faith and inner trust became my anchor, guiding me through tough times and helping me recognize that there was a greater purpose behind every obstacle. The “God Factor” has always been central to how I navigate adversity, giving me the courage to persist and the belief that each challenge is part of a transformative journey.

This commitment to personal growth has fueled my resilience. I understand that success starts with becoming the person you need to be, and that involves overcoming mental barriers, forming strong daily habits, and consistently making decisive choices. My experience in special education taught me the value of persistence—day by day, step by step. I’ve seen firsthand how consistent, positive actions can build momentum and break down what once seemed insurmountable. That’s why my 21-day journey to success emphasizes these daily, deliberate efforts, showing that small, continuous progress leads to major transformation.

Reflecting on my journey, I’ve learned that every experience—both setbacks and triumphs—has shaped my approach to challenges. The obstacles I faced as a special ed student taught me to adapt, to reflect, and to use those lessons as fuel. I’m driven not just by personal success, but by the desire to uplift and contribute to others. Whether I’m speaking to an audience, writing a book, or coaching, I’m reminded that resilience isn’t just about overcoming; it’s about reaching back and helping others overcome too. My mission to serve and inspire keeps me moving forward, no matter the difficulties that come my way.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Looking back, the three most impactful qualities in my journey have been resilience, a commitment to consistent personal growth, and the ability to effectively communicate. Resilience has been central, stemming from my early experiences overcoming the challenges I have faced. . I learned that setbacks are not the end, but rather opportunities to grow and redefine my approach. The second quality, personal growth, is something I’ve pursued through daily habits, deliberate decision-making, and a willingness to step outside my comfort zone. My focus has always been on becoming the person I need to be to achieve the goals I set—whether in health, finances, or leadership. Lastly, communication has played a transformative role in my journey. It’s not just about sharing my message, but about building trust, inspiring others, and engaging in meaningful dialogue, which has allowed me to serve others effectively through coaching, teaching, and speaking.

For those early in their journey, my advice is to start with resilience. Embrace challenges as essential parts of the process, not as indicators of failure. Each setback has the potential to teach you something crucial, so don’t fear mistakes—learn from them. Commit to consistent personal development by building habits that align with who you want to become, even if the steps seem small. Don’t underestimate the power of daily progress; it’s the little things done consistently that lead to significant breakthroughs. Finally, prioritize communication. Learn to share your ideas clearly, listen actively, and seek feedback. Effective communication will not only help you articulate your vision, but also connect with the right people who can support and challenge you along the way. These skills have not only shaped my journey, but they’ve also been the foundation for everything I continue to build.
