We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Brianna Beal. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Brianna below.
Brianna, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
Every since i was 16 , I have had a job. My work ethic was instilled in me at a young age , and it stuck with me through my adulthood. After exploring many careers , positions, and jobs, I finally decided that it was my time to give back. I can remember it like it was yesterday. I was sitting at my desk at work , and I was slowly falling asleep. Numerous times i tried to wake myself up , but nothing was working. After about 5 minutes , I heard a voice clearly say “Use what you know to make room for what you need”. I jumped up and begin to type , “How to start your own lab”. Several articles came up , so I became overwhelmed.
I reached out to a fellow entrepreneur for some insight and she gave me some tips. In return for more information , she required a large fee. I knew that at the time I did not have the money to pay her. So, I continued the journey alone. For about 2 weeks, I researched and took notes. 3 weeks later , I applied for my LLC, EIN , and other proper licensing that I needed.
February 28 , 2024 I was granted my LLC by the State Secretary. By April , I was up and running K-Lab and More. Here we are 2 months later , and the business is doing wonders. I have locked in contracts with several companies, given others opportunities to advance their career , and went from working full-time to being a full-time business owner.
I believe that everyone has a purpose in life. Nobody’s purpose is the exact same. We have to identify what makes us happy and what we enjoy doing. We you enjoy it , it becomes a passion . Your passion is your purpose. That is how I found mine.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
Brianna Beal is a 30 year old entrepreneur originally from the sweet onion city of Vidalia GA. She graduated from Vidalia
Comprehensive High School in 2012 with her High School Diploma and later attended Southeastern Technical College.

Technician. In December of 2020 , she obtained her Phlebotomy Certification , and decided to pursue Medical Assisting.
January of 2023 , she graduated from Herzing University with her Diploma in Medical Assisting.
Brianna credits her entrepreneurial spirit and work ethic to growing up in a small southern town surrounded by
hardworking families. The values of community, perseverance and opportunity she learned there continue to drive her
forward as a business owner today. Brianna started her first company, K-Lab and More in February 2024. K-Lab and
More was originally geared towards the bringing more health resources to Reidsville, Ga. This includes STD Testing,
Wellness Testing, Drug Testing and so much more. After realizing the need for affordable training, she decided to offer
training courses to the community
K-Lab and More offers a wide range of professional development courses to help community members gain skills and
certifications needed to find jobs or advance their careers. Phlebotomy Technician is the only course being offered at this time. Courses are designed to be flexible and affordable for any schedule or budget. Classes are offered both online and in-
person at Brianna’s training facility in Reidsville. Scholarships and payment plans are available for those who need
financial assistance.
Students benefit from Brianna’s real-world experience and connections to local employers. Upon completion of a course,
Brianna helps students with resume building, mock interviews, and job placement assistance. Brianna takes pride in
empowering community members and helping them achieve their career goals. She plans to continue expanding K-Lab
and More’s course catalog to meet the needs of more students and working professionals in South Georgia. Brianna’s
mission is to provide affordable, high-quality education that transforms lives and strengthens her hometown. She is
motivated by the desire to help others through her business and create jobs for members of her community. She also hopes
to be a role model for other young entrepreneurs, showing them that with dedication and passion, you can turn your
dream into a reality.
As K-Lab and More continues to grow, Brianna plans to expand her course catalog to include other in-demand
certifications and skills training. She is currently exploring options like medical billing and coding, pharmacy technician,
and IT support specialist training. Brianna sees a need for these skills in the local job market and wants to help fill that
need through her training center. Brianna is always looking for ways to improve her training programs and make them
more accessible. She plans to start offering some courses completely free of charge for those who cannot afford to pay.
Brianna feels a responsibility to give back to her community and help as many people as possible achieve their goals.
While growing a successful business is rewarding, Brianna finds the most fulfillment in seeing the positive impact K-Lab and More has on people’s lives. She loves hearing how her training helped students get a new job, promotion, or career
change. For Brianna, that is the true measure of success – transforming lives and strengthening her community one student
at a time.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
The three most important Qualities to me are : Ambition, Coaching , and Active Listening.
You have to have these three things to be successful in the world now. My generation really lacks this due to not being properly educated or interpersonal skills and job force management.
If you knew you only had a decade of life left, how would you spend that decade?
Due to the fact that I live in a small country town, funding has been my biggest issue. Grants are scarce and the economy is not at its best right now. I personally fund my business and some days I take that as a reward, but it also gets tiring. I know that I was given this vision for a reason , and I plan to keep pushing until I fulfill my duty on this Earth .
