Meet Brianna Ford

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Brianna Ford. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Bri, we are so happy that our community is going to have a chance to learn more about you, your story and hopefully even take in some of the lessons you’ve learned along the way. Let’s start with self-care – what do you do for self-care and has it had any impact on your effectiveness?
Finding what worked for me took a lot of trial and error, but my willingness to try new things made the process more beneficial. I believe the self-care activities you’ll enjoy the most will stem from your childhood. When I was a child, I loved to write, move my body, create art and use my imagination. In present day, I find that journaling, meditation/yoga, and any form of expressing my creativity are the most effective ways for me to practice self-care. Those things take me back to a safe place where I can gain clarity and create peace in my life and in turn allow my inner child to play.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
Whether I was studying graphic design or dabbling in new hobbies, my drive behind what I produced was always wellness. I often focused on advocating for mental health because of my experience in grade school. Through bullying & exclusion, I found an importance for building myself up despite being broken down. That’s how I found my purpose, the purpose that I’m pursuing today. As a creative alchemist, I’ve learned to and teach others how to shift energy through artistry. My goal is to help creatives acquire contentment and attain self-awareness by means of wellness, philosophy, and plant medicine.

A new focus of mine has been to provide a ‘third place’ for creatives like me to collaborate, create, and build upon consciousness. I want to create a sweet spot between home and work where inspiration lives and passion projects thrive. More on this soon!

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Knowledge of self, imagination, and resilience have brought me further than I could’ve ever imagined. What that looked like for me was learning my patterns and triggers, imagining my dream life based on my growth, and then pushing forward until I received the fruits of my labor. It’s a never ending cycle because we’re always growing from something, but the cycle becomes more manageable and produces more fruit each time.

My advice to others would be to start with yourself. The people you meet and the situations you endure are both a reflection of your present self. If you can learn the ins and outs of your existence, you’ll rise beyond your self-proclaimed limits and open the door to endless possibilities.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
I am looking to collaborate with creatives who want to align their creative mind with their body and spirit through wellness practices & plant medicine exploration. You can connect with me on Instagram @00rchidd or via email at [email protected].
