Meet Brianna Rose

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Brianna Rose. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Brianna below.

Brianna , we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
I struggled to find my purpose for years. It felt so daunting trying to find ‘the thing’ I was meant to do for the rest of my life. What if I messed up? What if I chose the wrong thing? These worries would keep me up at night. I was always curious by nature and eager to learn. And the more I learned, the more I realized labeling myself also meant putting myself into a box.

After receiving my Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising and Marketing Communications, I kicked off my career as a PR & Marketing Coordinator which soon led to me becoming a Director by the time I was 23. I had all the boxes checked off, a good job and salary but something still didn’t feel right. In 2013, I left my 9-5 and started and branding business. I craved the freedom to build my life on my own terms but shortly realized scaling other people’s businesses was very different than creating your own. It led be down the pathway of self discovery and personal development.

While I was working with clients 1:1 and building out their websites, I started to notice a similar theme. They too struggled with imposter syndrome, limiting beliefs and were all around holding them back. So I started to blend in what I was learning through my own self discoveries. After a session, they were able to conquer what was standing in their way and made massive leaps in their own businesses. I knew I was onto something at this point.

I then began studying embodiment practices such as kundalini yoga and somatic movement. What I started to realize was, the body played an important role in tapping into a persons infinite potential. Instead of working with clients solely on their marketing plan, I began to incorporate somatic movement along with business strategy. This shift accelerated my clients success massively. By 2017, I closed down my branding business and created what is now the Light Leader Collective, INC. Within the first few weeks I was booked out for months and had a waitlist to work together. I soon realized I couldn’t help everyone 1:1 so I turned my coaching method into a group program which has now helped 300+ spiritual entrepreneurs scale to 6, multiple 6 and 7 figures.

Since then, the Light Leader Collective, INC has become a global industry leading business that has pioneered the Body Based Coaching movement and impacts thousands of clients worldwide.

After working together, my clients are astounded by the success they see so much so, that it led me to creating a Body Based Coaching Certification called the Light Leader® Certification which certifies people in my coaching methods and includes breathwork, meditation, somatic movement and kundalini along with frameworks to blend these tools into your own business and offerings.

What I’ve found is, when you lead with joy you don’t have to find your purpose, it will find you!

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
While I’m a business coach, at my core – I’m here to help you awaken to your purpose and power. It’s my intention to crack you open to your own light so you can create the business and life you desire.

The greatest gift we can give ourselves is learning how to move energy in our body. And when we learn how to do this, we can self heal and self regulate. This shift allows us to show up greater in all areas of our lives and become a more ‘whole’ version of ourselves.

Far too often we make business and success harder than it needs to be. We allow our mind to get too involved which leads to overthinking, procrastination, and staying stuck for years.

My work is rooted in embodiment practices for you to expand and tap into your infinite potential. To find your edge and go beyond what you once thought was impossible. We all have the capability to create success beyond our wildest dreams. The only block is you. Rather than putting our attention and focus outside of ourselves such as complex strategies and ad campaigns, if we go inward and heal the root cause of our blocks; everything shifts. Success is a byproduct of our own internal alignment with our purpose.

Our Body Based Certification program, the Light Leader® Certification, is in a league of its own. We’ve infused the same tools that built our 7+ figure coaching brand and now certify people in them. We found that many certifications teach you tools but they lack in their ability to not only show you how to use those tools with clients but also the business component. Inside the Light Leader® Certification, not only are you becoming certified in breathwork, meditation, somatic movement, kundalini and coaching but we also teach you how to weave these tools into your own business, lead speaking engagements, host retreats, and work with clients 1:1. It’s my mission to share this program and get it into as many hands and hearts as possible. These tools are truly transformational and by certifying people in them, together we can create a ripple effect of light in the world.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Just start! So many people put their dreams on hold because they overthink it or are waiting for a ‘sign’ to begin. Reading this article is the sign – wherever you are right now, get started and you’ll figure it out along the way. Your future self will thank you for this.

Three values I’ve lived by over the years that have impacted my journey are:

1. Seeing Failure as Growth

I’ve found that so many people never ‘start’ because they’re afraid of failing or messing up. Here’s the thing, there is no such thing as failure, only opportunities to learn. I am here today because I ‘failed’ hundreds of times but rather than seeing them as a defeat, I look back and can say each time I failed it brought me closer to my purpose and who I am today. And for that I am grateful!

2. Start before you’re ready

You’re never going to be ready and it’s never going to be perfect. I tell my clients all the time, if you’re waiting for your business to be perfect to launch – you’ll be waiting forever. There’s such beauty and growth in the process of learning and trying something new. Allow yourself to be a novice, get curious and know that true mastery comes from doing something repeatedly.

3. It’s always working out

Even if things don’t go according to plan, they actually are going according to plan. The Universe has your back, always. And there’s always something greater in store for us even if we can’t see it. Every no or failure is a redirect into the right pathway.

Any advice for folks feeling overwhelmed?
Typically what I’ve found is overwhelm is a signal that something is out of alignment. While yes, you might have a lot on your plate but if you were excited by what you were doing or had to do, you would feel that – excitement instead of overwhelm.

When you step back and look at everything that is causing overwhelm, what can you remove? What is no longer serving you? What do you feel you have to do but maybe don’t really need or want to do? And lastly, what would you rather be doing instead?

Take an internal audit of the above and then take action.
