Meet Bridget Baker

We were lucky to catch up with Bridget Baker recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Bridget, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
This definitely came from tons of support from Andy! He doesn’t let much bother him, but I take every review and comment to heart. He had to really help me get past the “trolls” and realize that for every bad review there is 10 good ones. Im thankful that I have such an amazing cohost to keep me going.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
Booked Bagged and Tagged is a true crime podcast. We cover everything from crimes, ghost stories and the best conspiracies! We’re the dynamic duo, I tell the stories and Andy often times plays the devils advocate.We’re not your “normal” crime show though, we make sure that we keep it clean and safe. The majority of true crime consumers are women that are between 25-45, which means MOMS! If your kids are anything like ours then you know you basically have a couple parrots. We’re the podcast that you can listen to in the car without worrying that they will go to school with a brand new sentence enhancer!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
I definitely think a big piece of our success is due to our personalities, and sense of humor. We are both very laid back and down to earth. When you’re listening to our show you get the feeling that you’re just hanging out with friends. Andys unfiltered candor is another piece of the puzzle! He does not care to tell you exactly how he feels about something and people love it. I think a big reason they love it is because they see how flustered I get when he come up with something boarder lining inappropriate. The biggest aspect of our success is definitely our faith though. We are christians and we dont hide that. We dont make religion a topic of conversation, but when the subject arrises we talk about it.

Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?
As open and as “real” as we are, we want to find likeminded people. In the world we live in it’s hard to find someone who doesnt get offended easily. Thankfully it seems like we’ve found a great group of listeners! They let us joke and cut up with them and understand we’re here to tell you interesting stories, bring awareness to things and just hang out with them. We absolutely love going on LIVE and interacting with our listeners, they’re able to really see who we are that way, and its been a big help in our growth.
