Meet Bridgetta Tomarchio

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Bridgetta Tomarchio a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Bridgetta, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
I discovered my purpose through a lifelong love for entertainment. From a young age, I was drawn to storytelling and the world of performance. Pursuing my dreams as an actress allowed me to channel that passion into a career. Along the way, I wore many hats in the industry, gaining invaluable insights and knowledge in various facets.

As I navigated my diverse roles, I realized that I possessed a unique skill set that went beyond traditional acting. I understood how to not only succeed in the entertainment world but also how to get noticed, advance careers, and drive conversions in sales. It was during this journey that I found my calling in public relations, and later, as a book coach and agent.

What ties all these aspects together for me is storytelling. Whether it’s through film, public relations, or books, it’s all about conveying a compelling narrative. My purpose is to help others harness the power of storytelling to achieve their goals and share their messages with the world. Whether it’s on the big screen, in the media, or within the pages of a book, I’m here to guide and support individuals on their own storytelling journeys.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
Absolutely, I’d be delighted to share more about what I do and what sets my journey apart. I wear many hats in my professional life, and each role is deeply connected to my passion for storytelling.

First and foremost, I’m a seasoned publicist and book coach. What’s most exciting and special about this aspect of my work is helping authors and coaches shape their stories, get their messages out into the world, and ultimately achieve success in their respective fields. It’s incredibly rewarding to see my clients land media placements, book deals, and speaking engagements, knowing that I played a part in amplifying their voices.

Additionally, I’ve had the privilege of working with A-list talent in various capacities, including as a producer, casting director, tour manager, and business consultant. This experience has given me a unique perspective on the entertainment industry and has allowed me to cultivate a vast network of invaluable contacts.

What’s new on the horizon is my continued commitment to helping individuals enhance their careers through the power of storytelling. Whether it’s through media marketing, book coaching, or navigating the complex world of publishing, I’m here to guide and support others on their journey to success. I believe that everyone’s story is worth sharing, and I’m excited to be a part of that process.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Reflecting on my journey, there are several qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that have been profoundly impactful:

Adaptability: The entertainment industry is ever-changing, and being able to adapt to new roles and challenges has been crucial. My advice to those starting their journey is to embrace change and be open to exploring different avenues within their chosen field. Flexibility can lead to unexpected opportunities.

Networking: Building relationships and connections in the industry is essential. My extensive network of contacts has opened doors and provided valuable insights. For those early in their journey, I recommend attending industry events, seeking mentorship, and actively nurturing professional relationships.

Storytelling: Whether it’s on the screen, in the media, or through a book, storytelling is at the heart of what I do. Developing the skill to craft compelling narratives and convey messages effectively is vital. Aspiring professionals should focus on honing their storytelling abilities, as it can make a significant difference in their success.

Resilience: The entertainment industry can be challenging and competitive. Resilience has been essential in overcoming setbacks and persevering in the face of adversity. I encourage those starting their journey to cultivate resilience by developing a strong support system, maintaining a positive mindset, and viewing challenges as opportunities for growth. Remember that setbacks are a part of any career path, and it’s how you bounce back from them that truly matters. Incorporating resilience into your journey will help you navigate the ups and downs of the industry with determination and grace. It’s a quality that not only builds character but also contributes to long-term success.

My advice to those at the beginning of their journey is to remain curious, continuously learn, and stay committed to their passion. Don’t be afraid to take on diverse roles and responsibilities, as each experience contributes to your growth. Building a strong network and mastering the art of storytelling can be transformative in your career.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
Absolutely, I’m always open to collaboration and partnerships, especially with coaches, celebrities, or individuals who have compelling stories to share. Whether you’re an expert in your field, a passionate advocate for a cause, or someone with a unique perspective, I’d love to work together to amplify your message and create positive change.
