We recently connected with Brieana Ofosu and have shared our conversation below.
Brieana, thank you so much for joining us today. Let’s jump right into something we’re really interested in hearing about from you – being the only one in the room. So many of us find ourselves as the only woman in the room, the only immigrant or the only artist in the room, etc. Can you talk to us about how you have learned to be effective and successful in situations where you are the only one in the room like you?
Sometimes, you just have to be okay checking off the “Other” box.
There are thousands of ways we’re reminded of the boxes we’re supposed to be in from day to day. Male or female. Children or no children. Married or single. These characteristics become part of our pitch, our business, and sometimes our character altogether.
But how do you go about standing OUT in the crowd.
As a plus size Christian model and influencer, there couldn’t be more about me that sticks out. I’ve been invading a space that would otherwise be foreign to people “like me”. Still,I’ve dominated these spaces with impeccable runway and photography skills and even better story telling and cinematography.
I think the thing people get wrong when they enter big rooms is trying to figure out who they have the most in common with. What we often fail to realize is that we all have unique things within us that help us dominate what we do and stand out amongst the crowd. I’ve learned to do this through self management and self assessment: what do I bring to the table that will continue to hold it up?

Faith and Fashion 360 is a faith based media conglomerate that holds a focus on helping women in entrepreneurship build confidence through branding and marketing services. This includes exclusive and intimate photoshoots, influencer trips and experiences, and networking opportunities. We host a bi-monthly photoshoot with a fun theme for all to attend.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Integrity- There’s a lot of input from the market that we digest daily. There are people making promises and throwing numbers around that can be predatory for a new or hungry business owner. I pride myself on delivering business and services on-time, in excellence, and as advertised.

Do you want to sponsor one of our photoshoot meet-ups? We’re always looking for brands to add to our elevated photoshoot experiences. This could be in the form of wine brands, jewelry, food catering, and large and small scale clothing brands looking to widen their customer net.
