Meet Brigette Shvonne

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Brigette Shvonne. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Brigette , thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?
I would say I get my resilience from my mom. I watched her raise children while managing chronic illness. I also got resilience from growing up outside instead of playing video games or engaging in social media.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I started modeling in 1996. I was inspired by magazines. Social media was not around. Throughout the years I have had so many amazing experiences. With modeling you can always learn something new, like branching out to photography and acting. I am still working on learning photography. I enjoy helping new and experienced models. I love sharing advice or knowledge! I have some goals I’m working on alongside raising children. My days are full of life and go by fast. I also manage chronic pain. I hope to inspire people with chronic pain to keep going, keep living your life.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
One quality that helped my modeling was that I seemed to naturally pick up on the poses. The photographers would say you’re a natural. Also I can see an image in my mind of the photographers point of view. With over two decades of modeling experience I’m comfortable working in any environment. For people just starting out practice ! Pick up a camera. Use the camera to learn the other side of creating an image or creating art.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
I’m always interested in working with anyone in the entertainment industry! One goal I have is to meet with local agencies to discuss teaching model classes. I love working at events. I would love to be an event host or award presenter.

. I was a model at a DJ awards show in Las Vegas when I was 19. I would love to do background acting. I had so much fun working on set of a movie. The best way to connect is social media. My name is Brigetteshvonne on all platforms.
