Meet Briggs Wallis

We recently connected with Briggs Wallis and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Briggs, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
I would say that I am continually allowing my purpose to find me. I started being receptive to my purpose by cultivating clarity around what my highest values are. That clarity gave me a compass that pointed me in the direction of each “next right step” along my path. The path is still unfolding and I just keep taking the “next right step” that feels in alignment with those same values. I allow myself to be guided to where I can be of service, add value to others lives, and experience curiosity, enthusiasm, and joy. That is the intersection where my purpose finds me.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
My journey of moving from survival to thrival inspired me to become a Personal Empowerment Coach. Along my path I have learned how to care for my mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health, which has resulted in me losing 100 pounds and becoming a lighter and brighter being.

I passionately seek opportunities to help others feel like they are becoming more empowered and thriving in all aspects of their lives.

Personal Empowerment Coaching is an essential tool to help you navigate the waves of life and reach your highest potential. Coaching sessions provide encouragement, insight, and strategies to help you reach your goals and become empowered in your life. Sessions are geared towards enhancing your strengths, addressing your challenges, uncovering clarity around where you would like to go next, and allowing more freedom, ease, joy, and connection into your life.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
I think the three qualities that have been the most impactful along my journey are- allowing myself to be in-progress instead of needing to be perfect, taking action in the presence of fear with courage, and a willingness to figure things out along the way.

These qualities have allowed me to navigate the fear and resistance that comes up within me, which I believe are the only real obstacles to my success. I believe that knowing yourself and the internal workings of what scares, stops, and drives you are the gateway to freedom for us all.

So, if you are early in your journey, I want to let you know that you don’t have to have it all figured out. It will unfold one step at a time in an imperfectly-perfect process, and you can figure it out along the way. The most important thing is just that you dare to begin and get up and try again when you fall. When you allow yourself to be imperfect in your process, you give permission for others to do the same. You have something important to offer, so don’t let fear of failure talk you out of it. We need you to be you, exactly as you are.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
I love collaborating with folks who are seeking to uplift others and want to be of service to good of all through any modality. If anyone reading this feels inspired to collaborate, please feel free to reach out to me through my website (www.briggswallis.com). I look forward to connecting and creating something purposeful together!
