Meet Brittany Conner

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Brittany Conner a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Brittany, thank you so much for making time for us. We’ve always admired your ability to take risks and so maybe we can kick things off with a discussion around how you developed your ability to take and bear risk?
From a really young age I marched to the beat of my own drum. I always believed in myself and knew I could do anything I put my mind to. When I was younger, I was very active in sports and throughout all my personal training the statement, “High risk, High Reward” was embedded into my brain. I carried those words with me throughout my adulthood. I remember several times throughout my adult life where I would tell my parents a plan I had about how I could make an investment in my future. Even though they believed in my capabilities, they were always scared I would make the wrong investment that would have a negative impact on my future. I always was stubborn and hardheaded in the sense that I have to try, even if I go against the better judgment of my family. Have I failed? Yes! Was it a true failure to me? No. It was a learning experience. I’ve learned and grown through every risk I’ve ever taken. Some of the biggest risks I’ve ever taken were life changing in the most positive way possible. I’ve learned to not be scared of risks or the unknown possibilities that come with them, but rather to trust the process and know no matter the outcome, I’m getting better and better mentally, physically, financially and emotionally with every risk I take. I’ll always be a risk taker. If you don’t take risks, you will be stuck in the same cycle of mediocrity, and I fully believe I was meant to live an extravagant life.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I am a licensed Realtor in Ohio and South Carolina. I’m a top producer in my market as well as nationally and internationally ranked. I specialize in all things Real Estate. I help buyers, sellers, and investors accomplish their goals. I work with residential and commercial real estate. I also can help with new builds, land purchases, and relocation anywhere in the world. I think what sets me apart from others is my heart. I lead and maneuver this industry with my heart on my sleeve. I want to help people. Whether it be buying their dream home or helping get them out of a sticky financial situation – I want to be the agent consumers call to have their best interest at heart. With me as your agent, you get an expert that knows the ins and outs of the market; you get an agent that has strong connections within the industry, a ton of resources to help accommodate any kind of scenario as well as a supporter and friend for life.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
I believe the three qualities or skills that were most impactful on my journey were my strong communication skills, my integrity and my passion to help others. Communication is such a huge part of what I do, and to best represent my clients I need to be able to thoroughly communicate and negotiate on their behalf. I’m always a phone call or text away when they have questions or concerns, no matter what time of the day it is. I will always keep my integrity throughout my journey because I believe in providing not only a positive experience, but one in which my clients truly feel l I listen to their wants and needs, and that I will help put them into a home that has their best interest at heart. As far as passion goes, it’s why I do what I do. I want to help people. I want to make a difference in my client’s lives. I am passionate about every single client I take on and I will always do what’s best for them while educating and uplifting them along the way. My advice for anyone early in their journey is to remain true to yourself and what you want your life to look like and the rest will fall into place.

How would you describe your ideal client?
My ideal client is anyone that wants to buy or sell a home! I genuinely believe this is a process that everyone can do as long as they are educated properly, which is where I come into play! I will say my absolute favorite clients however are the clients that have been told this process isn’t possible for them. If you’ve ever tried to buy a home and been rejected, denied or heard the word “NO”, I want to work with you. Together we can make your dreams a reality.
