Meet Brittany Krenz

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Brittany Krenz a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Brittany, so excited to have you with us today. So much we can chat about, but one of the questions we are most interested in is how you have managed to keep your creativity alive.
Doing DrIed and preserved florals to me is basically a dream job because I imagine things I like in my own home…colors, textures, styles, and then I come up with a bouquet or an arrangement….sometimes at 2am🤣Oftentimes I see stuff in my scrap pile and I think hmm I wonder what that would look like. I have always really enjoyed when people love something I have created because I literally put my heart and soul into each piece.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
Pampas B started in 2020 and was a complete accident. When we all were bored at home mid pandemic, I was playing with different vase styles and experimenting with various DrIed and preserved flowers, to basically make a few extra bucks and design them for my own home. I didn’t even have a business name and actually thought of it on the fly mid deal with someone in my kitchen….🤣 Within the first year of Pampas B we shipped to every state in the United States including Alaska and Hawaii.

I know alot of companies have expanded to carrying DrIed florals, but everything we do is custom. I have even called Pampas B our third baby because it truly has been.

Everything we make or carry has been picked out by me because I want to back every product we have. The goal is to give everyone the opportunity to have beautiful pieces for their home without breaking the bank.

We started just selling Pampas grass and slowly have added in additional DrIed and preserved florals and have worked with over 2500 brides nationwide. It’s such a cool experience knowing someone picked you to be apart of their special day.

We have newly introduced our bouquet of the month which will feature a hand tied bouquet of all of our favorites for the month. Our customers will be able to have it on autopay or purchase monthly. It makes a great gift that keeps giving all year.

We have a few boutique markets left for the year which we love being able to interact with everyone at! Our next one is the Psiloveaz Christmas market which is Thanksgiving weekend at Legacy Park.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
I couldn’t have done Pampas B without my husband Ryan. He is my calm for sure in all areas of my life and he did all of my shipping, website, and linking all of my sales channels which I know nothing about and stresses me out🤣 Without those I definitely wouldn’t have been able to ship like we have.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
I love collaborating with brides and absolutely love designing arch pieces and bouquets. Anyone wanting to collaborate with us can reach us by email!
